also how r u getting thouse buds so huge with cfl lights?
maybe Im not giving my sativas enough flower ferts. but don't know for sure.
cant wate to see some full shots of the plants out the cab when u harvest them.

#1cheesebuds - That panama gave me a little more than an ounce of dry bud. The smaller tops were 3.2 grams each. That is not a normal result. Panama grows crazy, but then again I started this project at the beginning of the year so it has also taken a long time. A normal grow gives me a full 2cup widemouth jar of weed per cup. On the low end 15 grams or so per plants sounds about right. I get more than enough weed to support my habit and give it to a few friends.
"also how r u getting thouse buds so huge with cfl lights?" - I use a 250w hps and 2 42w cfls for side lighting. I have lots of hooks at the roof of the can so I can move the lights around. I mainly use the cfls to light shorter plants. Later on in flower I use them to plump up lower buds.

cuz I wanna try this. " Err... I am down to one full plant.... I chopped pretty much all of them. Only 1/2 the ssh, 1/3 the mod x f13, 1 whole hog remain. I take a pic of the last plants and some dry branches. I am attempting to reveg the panama and 2 of the hogs. If you decide to try it let me know. There aren't many bottom feeding growers.

smokefrogg & smokeymacpot - re:watering: I can use about a gallon a day. I have a 4 gal rez and refill every 5-8 days. I actually hand feed the plants in veg up until the point where they dry out daily, then they go on the automated feedings.

Fuzz420: the mod bx x f13 .... I'm curious why your curious about the smoke? I mean in a perfect world I could vape some w/ you, but chances are you'll never get to try her. To answer your question: The mom had a nice up and clear high. There were more hazey-spicy smelling plants in the mod bx pack, the mother I picked was more destroyer dom (just guessing). The f13 dad was the shortest of the 3 males I had. The mod bx X f13 plant in this thread has a high that is neither like f13 or mod bx. It has a clear head and is very relaxing for the body. People w/o a tolerance will go into giggle fits and often report a floating feeling. There's a sensation of waves hitting you as the high progresses. The flavor is very subtle and reminds me more of the mom with a floral green tea-like flavor. There is nothing bitter or too sweet about her.

Fuzz420 - When I grew out the initial cross the phenos were all over the place in a good way. There's some serious variety to be found. The resin was off the hook in all the plants. This might sounds silly, but the plants had the best leaves you have ever seen. They were small and stuck straight out of the plant. I thought the structure was greet for indoor growing. I mean crowded leaves can lead to bad things.
I hope it works out for you! I made some f2 that I want to try one day for the fun of it.

Awesome sounds like you've got a winner.I understand what you mean about the leaves, my mod had like 4 fan leaves thats it, the plants where pretty much a center cola.Thin leaves that are far and few between would be perfect packing them in a doing a high density SOG. Is the mod x f13 still a relatively low odor plant?

Fuzz420 - Is the mod x f13 still a relatively low odor plant? They weren't the stinkiest. The flavors were subtle and ranged from lemon to a green tea with a bit of the sweetness of f13(blueberry-hashy).

fatcat0491 - Hi. The setup suits me. I don't have to check on it every day and I get nice results. I am basically growing plants to the size of the tray, not the pot.
Hey can you tell me how you did your automated feedings?
I use the valves from an autopot setup, they are called smartvalves. The valve sits in a rubbermaid kichen drawer trays that can hold 4 cups and a valve or 2 pots. The whole thing is gravity fed with my rez being a few feet above the trays.

You can do this by getting some coco and trays and hand water the tray. If the plants take longer than a day to soak up the nutes you gave them too much and should let them dry out. The only trick is that you will need to watch the leaves and flush the cups if you see any yellow. I flush a cup with 3 cups of water for a good flush. For a sativa I'll have to do this 2 times in flower. I normally veg until flower and flush just before they go into the flowering cab.

How much weed do I get? it cab be 5-25 grams for a cup, it depends on the genetics. The long flowering sativas will give you more weed. There are no flow times. The system works with the plants. The faster they drink the more feedings they get per day. The valve automatically floods and drys in cycles. For these crazy sativas I will only veg for a couple of weeks training them all the way.

Alright so you have Your rubber maid Kitchen drawers And you stick you Beer cups in the drawer, And then you have your smart-valve on the drawer, and a line from the smart valve to your gravity fed reservoir? Now the beer cups must have like what drainage holes in the bottom to soak up the needed water? Thank you for your time BTW.

Awesome. About how much water is in the tray at a time? Or is it dependent on where you stick the smart valve? I mean i cant imagine standing water would be very good..
