i live out out of service so the only info i got about this was my buddy texting me details. i couldnt stop laughing , funniest shit i had ever heard.

At my ODG there's flattened down grass like an animal's been bedding there, but there's only one spot (not several like with cows or deer), and it's massive. Probably bear, though it could possibly be the moose that I've spotted in the area. I've also seen signs of cougar activity out there (and one other grow).

just ont he news the other night and shows him hand feeding the bears says he loves them. actually said the amount of food they consume is huge and he was growing to suplement income to take care of them. fucking kool actually judge ruled hes allowed to feed them until they hibernate and another ruling will be maid then. if i was there and some bear cme around id probably feed t its lonely out there then he probably told is buddies and they all came out to eat some plants and dog food, im sure they had a good time.

The bear story is 100% ligit. Where the story gets good is. Christina lk is a very small community. so the cops ripped everything down took all the weed and took it to a small detachment.Think it was Grand forks. BC
Somebody then came back to the police station in the middle of the night, broke in, and stole all the marijuana back!!!!I dont think they recovered it..
These small detachments are usually closed at night after the cops go home.

It was a lady, and if you read the article it's pretty clear she wasn't using them for protection. The RCMP admitted that the bears were tame and "well fed". She was feeding them dog food to keep them around, also had a bunch of raccoons and other creatures living in her house.
Black bears would make useless guard animals minus the shock factor, you could throw a bag of garbage at them and keep em' busy for a few hours. I have been close enough to pet them numerous times, they are slow, docile, and gentle creatures .. they just want to eat and sleep and be left alone.
