Evening folks. Planted my wife’s grandma today. She was 89, and bay shit crazy for about five years. Poor lady was seeing women hanging from crosses from a crazy pastor. Coal mine in the yard. I don’t wanna live quite that long.

Got the oven range a little further today. Next time I’ll start drilling holes through the cabinets to the exterior wall. Had an over range microwave and swapped to a vented hood. I’m not a fan of diy some repairs. I’ve studied on it, and gotten advice from a trusted contractor. Want to be safe and use the right materials.

Bought the stain for the mantle place. Hoping to finish it before thanksgiving but I probably won’t.
Work tomorrow, then off till Tuesday. Then off Thursday and Friday. I love this time of year. Days off all over the place til new years. My job is good on days off. 4 weeks a year. Plus 9 other days that we get off for holidays. Hard to find that much time around here.

I was at one of his readings, 25 years ago I think. He was smoking a lot of joints while he was reading, a very nice fella. Oh, and well, it's your fault that I'm flying to Thailand with my wife again after 6 years. The great pictures are mainly to blame. Maybe February/March.Have a great day in paradise 🐒

For sure - Howard was a very interesting fella - and is surely missed by many - myself included 😉 -

- and if you are off on a Thai holiday next feb/March - maybe around New Year (Chinese) - I'd say 'Mai Pen Lai - Sawadee Pi Mai'

I am currently pretty tied up with projects and work, so wanted to start with a daily check in hello.
Today is Friday and right next door to the weekend on Saturday. Will be glad for the break. TGIF!!

Lots more rain starting at 46F and predicted to reach 55F.

Looks like today is the day that the city picks up the leaves piled in our street at the curbs and towing any cars that are in their way at $80 a pop.
