Heres a pic of the Floater Indica seedplants root zone a day after the chop, this tells me that i can veg for maybe a week or so longer in these size pots...without being rootbound? :chin:

Keep it green!! :sasmokin:

Hiya BeAn
Congrats on the harvest - I often underestimate veg time for new strains - I'm careful since I don't have much vertical room - now you know about her, betcha she's taystee! That's a pretty solid root mass - I'd give it a go though on a longer veg and then sort it out. You could pull her from the pot to check roots before flowering her, and if needed put her in a deeper or bigger pot - I've done this just as plants go to flower if I'm pressed for time and they're rootbound, works out well. Do you veg by time alone or do you also go by plant height?

Lookin sweet dude!

Hey dude...thanks as ever for the props.

Erm...i kinda just go with the flow, this time i just vegged them till the looked good enough(enough height/branches) then cut em back to a couple of leads, then flipped em. I totaly underestamated the strech on them all, hence a very uneven canopy..the only ones with fat ass buds are the tallest FL'sativa and the tallest Lifsaver.
The rest are ok but not that heavy, ive only had these Flouro's going for a while..before this grow was a SOG with no veg and the FL'indy yeilded about the same on an 8'inch clone, but they were close to the CFL's. Now i know what i should do, this setup is about as effiecient as a chocolate fireguard with an uneven canopy........the SCROG will sort that out. :joint: :lurk:

I overestimated the penetration of the CFL's also, now after this grow i think i can maximise the cab for bud production...... :chin:

Keep it green MGJ.. :sasmokin:

nice pics, i agree with yours and others reasonings about scrog too.
I grow with cfls and got an envirolite now for flower and use lst allways, its only way really to get good branching and a more even canopy, scrog would help do same, and veg times do differ for plants..
i like to give smaller ones longer veg when u see progress in veg, start off more developed ones flowerin first n then others later but its all about what u can fit in flower etc come the time :D the range of cfls mean u gotta really try to get all budsite in that light zone close to bulbs. i also learned over time that some plants its better to use a bit larger pot, longer veg with trainin and u end up with significantly more than two plants not done the same takin up same space.. trial and error there i feel.. loved the frosty look of your plants tho :yummy:

this is kind of thing i try to do with all mine under cfl. no means an expert tho lol, i dont grow them massive or get amazin yields compared to the hps but it does improve over my initial goes with tree like grows n no training..oh the plant in pic was double gum from whitelabel that was rooted from cuttin topped then given almost 3 week veg and that pic is about 2n half weeks into flower.. i got almost 3/4 oz from it using 1n half gallon pot
good luck with yr grows bean u sure can frost those plants up

Hey Kooki, thanks for the encouragement..much apprieciated.:D
Very nice pics man, that doublegum looks lush..thanks for the tips too. It helps to see how other growers do things with pictures, kinda gives me somthing to shoot for ya know.
Im not worried about the different growth rates too much, as both the FL & LS are quite similar in growth pattern and the stretch is manageable in both cases(i think this is because the Blue+Red bulbs though?) But im sure with the help of all you guys here it'll all be cool in the end. :joint:

Be safe, thanks for dropping in dude. :sasmokin:

P.s. Im planning to make the screens this weekend, and take some clones to put in the cab after this crops done. Do you remember the 'super simple SCROG thread' from OG, thats what im basing it on..all modular so i can move the plants around and access the rear ones to feed/water. :bandit:

Thanks a million for your kind words, good to hear from ya's.

MGJ, i dont think she'd make it to the bed...straight in that grinder, packed in the bowl...gone..0 to stoned in 38.7seconds.

Core, yeah the yeild isnt much to shout about..partly down to her pure sativa flower traits, i think this comes from the Thai part of her lineage. For an Indica pheno the buds are airy and loose, but i hope to find a similar pheno but with hard nuggets from the outcross to Lifesaver. But if you want quality over quantity then this is the girl for you. :chin:

Keep it green dudes! :sasmokin:

^^Found a growshop about a mile from my front door...spent some cash, couldnt resist.....no more online credit card payments for this grower. :woohoo:
