Thanks Fuzz420!! I got this old dresser from the thrift store for 20 bucks!! You'd never recognize it now...there is a couple of pics in my album of the cab's progress...my pc will always be up and running though..

Thanks thehappyguy!! very nice of you to say bro...if you go to my albums and look for the new cab build one, there is staep by step pics on building a killer scrubber with a fan inside!! and it works like a charm and I have'nt even hooked it up to the 90cfm fan...I got the ideas from here then went crazy with all of them rolled up in to 1 !! plus its re-fillable..
these are the lights I'm putting in..link below..you can daisy chain up to 8 of them!! I know they work very well(from here!!) but also a friend does all his vegging now with just these babies...made locally in BC too!!they are 40 watts , 6500k with 2440 lumens each..

hello everyone!!
thought I'd update with pics of the little lady and the new cab...

she's filling out nicely might get a nice cola out of her yet!!

I've been feeding the marigold the big bud tooshe's only in a small plastic cup but has bud sites all over!! It was my daughters flower, I let it freeze, got in trouble, and now have redeemed myself

this fans going down there somewhere...should help bring fresh air up..all the intakes( 8- 1and a half inch holes) total 12 inches of intake...

therm/hygro with cord that I can stick anywhere inside, and the 120mm 79cfm(look familiar chris?) fan which will blow on the light in the next pic...

150 watt HPS with 16,000 lumens..more on the red spectrum but with the PLL's, should work nicely..total lumens will be 20, 800 in a 2 square foot space...total watts are 230

homemade scrog screen...without the screen...just cutting the chicken wire tomorrow...

the 80mm 49cfm fan blowing into the scrubber which when connected to the hose, will work with the 120mm 90cfm fan inside the cab...I'm leaving the scrubber outside due to space...or lack of it

this is my homemade scrubber..its got almost an inch of carbon yet that little fan on top manages to move air through!!that smaller fan is there to make sure all air gets sucked out of the cab but with almost zero noise..I think the noisiest thing will be the ballast on the hps..

sort of a rough idea how its going to look..I am mounting 1 pll on the side with the 4 intake holes and the other pll on the door of the cabwhich will bring light 360 degrees around my plant without having to move her at all...
what do you all think?? anything I should change? I am open to all suggestions....

Just wondering, have you used your carbom scrubber before or any other homemade one, I'm just wondering on how good they are, especially being run with pc fans. Could you get away with really smelly strains??

I've just picked up the chicken wire today!!

Plastic/rubber coated or plain metal? I have some plain metal for a scrog but concerned about it getting too hot and burning the plants.

Check out ScrubNinjas PC fan thread if you've not already. Good stuff. Basically carbon over a large surface area is good, as BC is doing.

Been lurking along BC, looking really good. I am amazed this plant is doing what it is with just a snip, bit of gob and stuck in a pot!! Not dissing, I know you weren't even aiming to clone rather a 'see what happens if I don't throw trimmed leaves away'. It looks like the answer is - more free bud! Bravo mate, bravo!
