BC's 150 watt HPS/T5 Scrog Cab

thanks Strangely!!! a little lickage on the light would'nt be bad at all...now with all 4-T5's in, my ambient has to stay around 69-70 for everything to be happy..
my old pc is now a bonafide clone machine another week or so and this TW should start growing more...its like watching grass grow right now...

nice set up mate!, its fun using the t5 lights but if i might make a suggestion hang 1 of them from the ceiling so thats its only a few inches above the plants they are awesome for getting your seedlings up and going fast!

Thanks Short Ryder!! I was thinking about hanging one of the T5's too!!! I was hoping I wouldn't have to hang anything else but its a good idea...by any chance do you grow auto's?? I grew an easy-ryder( still have a bunch of seeds) and it was fun!! 11 inch plant and I got 33 dry grams!!! I also have some Onyx seeds which go for 3 months...let me know..

Nice stealth dresser dude, looks like you're going to drive the girls crazy! What did you use to light proof the holes? ABS? What size holes/ elbows?

Thanks OrgAeroMan!!! yes I used ABS ( 2 inch ABS) with elbows to keep light from leaking and I painted all of them(inside and out) flat black..if you want, go check out my New Cab Build in my albums...shows everything I did...

Hey Ghost!!!! sooo nice to hear from you bro...glad to see things are getting better...I really think this TW is going to fill the whole space considering how big it got in my pc!! this should be lots of fun!!!yeah The Ghost built an amazing cab for sure...ours are similar in many ways but most importantly was how he built his cab AROUND the ventilation...I followed that idea for sure...
day 7 from seed and I've noticed a big difference in the little TW since I turned of the HPS till she gets bigger...those T5's are incredible lights...man...

Thanks a lot BC, did you have to drill the holes bigger than 2" for the elbows?

You're welcome bro..just make them a touch bigger so the ABS will fit properly..after I cut the 2 inch holes, I used my dremel to make everything fit snuggly..then I used silicone to seal the cracks around the outside which also helps against light leaks...just a thought...

hello BC,
Your little baby looks great. As for topping I would top it when its on 4th or 5th node. I always seem to have problems getting my plants from seed to get a nice full even canopy. But with cuttings they just seem to naturally want to grow into a nice bush.
Ill pull up a chair, and enjoy your grow show.

Thanks for the info Endur!! from seed its harder but if you veg it longer(sometimes alot longer!!) things work out...what I want to do is take that top I cut and clone from that...

hey OrgAeroMan!!! Hope you understood my instructions on how to post pics...i speak "Chronicanese" sometimes!!! yeah, dremels are the bomb for all sorts of stuf...thats all I used to build by cab and pc!! plus a beat up old hacksaw!!! I should post a pic of it just for laughs...

I have since put Visqueen up and switched to my inline fan and carbon filter. They're getting stinky, even in veg. I'll take some more recent ones tomorrow. As you can see I still need the ABS elbows though.
