Greetings,

I'd like to share pictures of my cross with a sativa freakish Bangi Haze mother:

The mother above was a weakling, but with a good high. Not as good as the first one I grew. The first one was vigorous, had fat buds, and a super clear high. I kick myself for not preserving that one.

When I crossed the mother above with some pollen from my pollen chucking line, vigor was restored, but it still looks quite tropical. It looks great, if I do say so myself, and I do. I can't wait to try this and see if it has the clean clear high found in some of the chemotypes:

B.T.W., here is a reposting of the picture of the vigorous one with the great high, grown in a small cabinet:

The high was fantastic. Whoops! Preserve every plant until it is tested. LOL Bangi Haze is well worth searching through for special individuals.

Grew four bangi this year. After a few preliminary smoke tests I can say I'm overall happy with this grow. One was of the "sad" looking dropping leaves congo leaning pheno, super clean smoke, fluffy buds everywhere on the plant, low yeld and quite low potency, morning smoke. two were the lemony productive clean and potent phenos. All three were culled the 18 of October. Another one was ready 1st of October and has a somehow heavier high than her three sisters and looks and smells a bit more like a sweet skunk she's the hardest hitting one as well as the one with the quickest tolerance buildup and a nice yelder too. All have been polinated by two Queen Mother studs.
If you don't get the skunky or Congo pheno Bangi Haze still lives up to her name and delivers a good sativa buzz in ten weeks, potent and cleaner than many advertised 14 weeks sativas

Hi ThaiBliss,

It's almost impossible not to lose vigor when you are inbreeding a line for almost 10 generations, inevitably weaker plants will appear ... but i tried to avoid this as much as possible by inbreding Bangi Haze with parental plants from different lines, and not from direct immediate family members. It took me lots of efforts to bring back the best qualities of Bangi Haze in latest breeding generations, i'm especially proud of being able to restore some of her best terpene profiles and effects in recent generations.

How did your Bangi Haze hybrid turn out ? :) Did you cross her with Wicked Weed ?
I still follow your Trip Weed thread with lots of interest, i'm glad to see you so active with our beloved plant, seems you have had a good harvest this year too! :)

Best wishes!

Hi baduy,

Thanks for sharing your experience with Bangi Haze this outdoor season. :)

I'm glad you found interesting plants of your taste, and it's good that you don't give up on the weaker structured plants, as you have experienced, some of these phenos produce some of the brighter and cleaner sativa effects of the line.

The Bangi Haze x Queen Mother cross should produce a really interesting and relatively fast flowering mostly african sativa hybrid.
Please, keep us updated next year with the outcome of these seeds.

Wish you are enjoying your harvest! ;)

I'm thrilled I found that "weak" plant. Quality of the smoke was excellent. It was my Wicked Weed line that it was crossed to. There is no better compliment for a plant to get absorbed into my decades old pollen chucking line. Buds are curing now.

I don't know how the smoke results will be yet, but the aromas and productivity are outstanding. All offspring are the most pungent and productive plants this year by far. Look again at the first picture of my #1102 post. It is a mountain of flower. LOL! I'd be surprised if this family branch does not become the lead for future generations. Your work lives on here.

I still follow your Trip Weed thread with lots of interest, i'm glad to see you so active with our beloved plant, seems you have had a good harvest this year too! :)

Thanks Dubi.

Hi Dubi
Yes I'm looking forward to growing the offspring, I'm very (too) optimistic about this cross but time will tell.
The buds have matured in the jars now, smells have dramatically changed for some of the plants, the potency of the most Congo leaning one is now nearly ,on par with her sisters but still super clean btw I was wrong in my previous post, it was 5 female bangi, found some notes later.
With a better cure I think I get a better understanding of what to expect from the line
CMIIW Plants go from quite leafy and branchy, lemony smell and 8 weeks flowering (Nepal) to more columnar and lanky, licorice/onion smell and 10/11 weeks flowering (Congo)
My favorite is a licorice one with a more vigorous growth and better yelding than the most Congo leaning one, the high is nearly as clear and motivating just more potent, very potent actually. This one is my favorite for going in the bush, feeling alert, great awarness of the surrounding woods, a true guerillero weed
This licorice smell is not the super refined anise of the best Durban poisons but is of the same kind just more rough, not as intoxicating but I like it more and more
Oddly enough most of my friends enjoy more the lemon smelling Nepali phenos as they have a less "electrical" effect which make them feel more comfortable, to each is own.
You did a great job with this one Dubi

I experienced similar results with the F6 (or f7?) I grew many years back, maybe time to revisit them...

Edit: I re read the previous post and my exp with the Nepal vs Congo phenos was very similar in regards to effect and smell, except the Congo was faster ripening and the Nepal were larger later plants.

The consensus among a small circle of friends is that Bangi Haze is more euphoric than Mextiza..and that is saying something.

Hi SierraPadre,

Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you and your close circle are enjoying with the euphoric qualities of Bangi Haze :)

Hi baduy,

Thanks for going into more detail about your recently harvested Bangi Hazes. I concur with you about the qualities and differences of the different phenos. The lemony pheno is usually the most electric one and the one with highest THC content (like our Bangi Haze mother E25), while the musky, floral, aniseed pheno usually have a more balanced effect and a more complex terpene profile although a more moderate THC production.

I also recommend to cure properly Bangi Haze for at least 3 months to fully experience its best qualities.

Wish you and yours are enjoying with the Bangi Haze harvest!:huggg:

Bangi Haze feminized is back in stock!

Bangi Haze feminized is back in stock!

Happy to announce that Bangi Haze feminized is back in stock! :)

https://www.aceseeds.org/en/bangihazefem.html

As you well know, we keep improving even our more classic lines with every new generation of breeding. To produce this new Bangi Haze feminized version we have used the best 2 Bangi Haze females we selected among dozens of plants from many different lines years ago, concretely, this new Bangi Haze fem version has been produced by pollinating our most electric lemony Bangi Haze mother (E25) with the strongest THC content found in this line, with the Bangi Haze (F29) with higher terpene content and more complex terpene profile (musky, floral, aniseed).
This is also the best feminized Bangi Haze version we have produced so far.

Cannabinoid and terpene analysis of both Bangi Haze parental plants used to produce this new Bangi Haze fem version can be found here:

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=323725

We also have produced some interesting new Bangi Haze fem hybrids:

Purple Nepal Jam x Bangi Haze F29 fem
Orient Express sativa pheno x Bangi Haze F29 fem
Green Haze #19 x Bangi Haze F29 fem
Congo #3 x Bangi Haze F29 fem
Purple Zamal x Bangi Haze F29 fem
