Bangi Haze

A brief report from the front: Like a vintner sampling his grapes, I wanted to get a sense as to where the Bangi Haze was at, in terms of high, so I sampled the smallest, lower bud from a lower branch that I could find. Let it dry for four days. I am absolutely wonked. About two hours ago, I felt like I was a confederation of individual neon particles of existence that banded together to face the rest of the universe. Visually trippy. Several hours later - I feel like I'm almost as high as when I first smoked it. I'm tired but I can tell this is a major up. This is a gem.
It's nearing the 57 day mark. If for some reason I had to harvest today, I would have no regrets. Unfortunately, I'm going away for a week on Thursday so I won't be able to harvest until 4/23 when I return (BTW...happy 420 everybody!!). The plant is still bulking up big time so I don't think it's ready at any rate. Most of the trichs are still clear or cloudy so I feel pretty confident that I can leave it for the next 10 days or so.
Remarkable strain, dubi. Really remarkable. And i'm not a cheap date. This is powerful and pervasive stone and VERY long lasting. Loads of body...but not couchlock. Just ripples of delight coursing through every cell in my body. No paranoia at all.

Nice job mayan, what kind of smells are you getting from her? Sounds good!
Mayan, Can't wait for the updates towards weeks end. I'm planning a Bangi Haze and Old Timers Haze 1 run in the next month. I plan on crossing those two for future work as well as selecting the top OTH1 female for an outdoor stealth/scrog run towards fall. Great job with this one!!

I'll post some photos of my solo female soon. Yours looks great with very nice flowering tops!! Not sure if we share the same pheno or not ... mine is a little on the small side but her resin production is nice and the buzz has been one of my favorites!

so if she fares well at 43N in spain, the cold nights at 45N shouldnt be a problem for the bangi then?

She fared well at 50N last year. Europe though. US 50N a different climate I suppose (Gulfstream etc.).
But she survived Esbens danish garden two years ago, so you shouldn't worry much.

Here's some pics from the harvest of my Bangi Haze plant. The foremost rows top and bottom - the ones with the long branches - are the Bangi Haze. An amazing producer. I have also attached a couple of other (entirely inexpert) photos of a couple of small buds that have been curing for the last three weeks.
I let it go about 70 days or so. Wow...what a kick - this pheno, at least, is very powerful. Two hits and my consciousness goes to a whole 'nuther level. Great plant!!!!

many thx for report and pics and honoured you found it nice. Its a very hardy hybrid, bred in north spain with humid climate and in greehouse. Selected among other traits against mold and fastest possible. Present seeds are F4-F6. Dont think we will move it further as seems best expressions and results came in this generations and as said other times.
In present ACE catalogue you can find a whole range of different sativa expressions, from fastests to longest ones like OT Hazes. From mellows to more speedy or trippy ones... Always happy to know sativas catch peoples interest

I'm just getting to know the strain. Off the bat - I'm very impressed (and I'm not a cheap date). I would say it provides a lot of latitude and longitude, if you know what I mean. Gets me soaring at first -I don't know about racy but it's a sativa-high- but then it also stretches out into a very mellow, expanded state. So it's both - a complex well-defined sativa AND indica...not a mishmash but two discernable states of consciousness. I don't know any other strains that have affected me quite this way. Certainly knocks me for a loop and I'm an everyday worshiper of the sacrament.
It's way different from the Nepalese Jam I grew out recently. That was like walking on hot sugar white beaches with your lover after a night of sweet fun. Wonderful as well...The BH doesn't have that "frisbee on the beach" thang, however. It's more powerful and stoney. Not better, necessarily - nor worse, necessarily...just different.

does this plant produce a racy high ? or the clear happy go higher with each puff toke ?

would be nice to read a concise smoke report of the following
BH is strong in several ways, some may produce some anxiety maybe as well and as said by Mayan, is more complex high and maybe sometimes more "uncontrolled". Some other hybrids may be I guess more friendly and suited to what you look for like Orient Express or even some Thai F1's.
Jamaican brings such feeling in NepalJam Mayan. Nepal also seems to contain kinda social effect although some plants in this hybrid can really kick you hard.

LOL ,, frisbee on a beach thang
well i meant i was looking for something powerful , a sativa which produces least noticable body effect , but i dont necessarily enjoy the heart racing rollercoaster rides , especially the ones tht really get ur heart pumping and full of paranoia.I can enjoy a lotta aspects of some of that kinda herb (the psychedelic qualities) , but what charlie just mentioned , the outta control , take your breath away kinda feeling , im looking for something apart from tht.
Something that would be ceilingless , strongg but clear and alert , rather than a speedy one.I dont enjoy the twitchy feeling tht comes with racy erb cuz i have anxiety attacks as it is sometimes , so i gotta be careful of it.
The reason i asked though is cuz ace seem to have unique stuff , and they could have something in their stable that could suit my needs.

Anything with congo genetics in it wouldnt be n e thing less than stellar.
