Hey Gooz,

What HGO proposes is also a method to keep the rot out in latter flowering. When the buds have volumes that promote mold. Stopping with adding fertiliser to the plants and lowering the amount of water feed would I.M.O be a must in order to keep mold out. The plants only vaporises less and the buds have less water in it.
The HGO proposal is IMO as important as lowering the RH during flower.

Hushem, thanks for the explanation. I guess that makes sense if your RH is a real problem, it was just such an amazing bitch for me to trim, all the leaves had wrapped around the buds and the stems were weakened and some wouldn't hold up as I was trimming and it was just so much harder! I can't imagine using any sort of trim machine for buds like this, right? Since the leaves don't stick out? Anyway thanks again.

Killerweed31, nice to see you again, yeah I'm super duper excited about smoking my own stuff again, nothing compares, even terrific buds from the dispensaries don't come with the satisfaction of having sat by the growing buds since they were babies, nurturing them with your attention... blah blah yeah very excited thanks.

Alright, all dried up, except for the water cured buds that are drying tonight.

Gooz = 135g
Big Bud = 65g
Water cured ~ 15g(?)
Hash ~ 5g(?)
Cannamilk ~ 3/4 gallon

Almost 0.5 gpw is a good start for the shed, of course gotta shoot for better next round, got 10 clones of varying size in there vegging now with some more on the way.

The buds are great, potent, powdery white ash, a bit harsh though, I hope they cure well. While both are very nice, the Big Bud nugs are beautiful. I jarred everything up today and my goal tonight is to smoke smoke smoke

Hey Hushem and Killerweed31, my foreign friends, thank you, and Hushem yes 63 days is correct, about a month of veg from seed i think.

Lawladash yeah the buds are great, for all that I love about them my biggest complaint is that I didn't jar them up quickly enough, they got too dry and don't smell or taste great. You get a hint of what it was supposed to be if you give them a little pinch, and they don't smoke as smooth as I'd like. But very potent and pretty to look at. And that Big Bud is just beautiful, I'm so glad I kept clones going. Even though it didn't cure properly it looks amazing.

Zen Master and Lawladash, just to settle the great pizza box debate of our generation, it is in fact papa johns, the local store has a great special that keeps my belly growing. And the scale, I borrow that from my science classroom every few months hehe.

btw the water cured buds (Big Bud) came out to about 9 grams. I rolled a joint of this yesterday - very dry, brittle, shrunk down smaller than its non-water-cured bud-brothers, doesn't look appealing but potency is the same, burned well, and indeed and so fucking strangely enough, there was no smell, at least no cannabis smell, if anything it was like a faint incense. Really weird, serves its purpose I guess. And it was pretty smooth which was nice.

That's the point of water curing, AFAIK. I've heard some people claim that they've smoked water-cured "cigarettes" in front of police officers without having any issues.

I feel for you on the all-male review first round. I did the same thing my first time out. I cared for a plant for months, cloned "her" and then cared for "her" 30+ clones for a month before flipping to 12/12 and having a room full of nanners.

SOOOOO pissed! But it gets better, as you've just found.

I don't know how I missed this til now but I read the whole thread and I love the cab.

I bet your GPW would go up if you were to monocrop one strain at a time in there instead of mixing it up.
