As I am buying and growing "proven genetics", this project
will proceed to the back cross of the F2 03's that are in hand.

Then those seeds will pop to choose a keeper, and at that time
I will retire the parent stock.

If I produced desired results from this first project I will
apply the method to the "proven genetics".

Breeding in small space with limited numbers.

lol.

DC. I've yet to start a grow journal, simply because I don't know about all the proper security measures involved in posting pics on here. I started reading in the security section, and some of the stuff is way over my head. Proxy servers....vpn's....torrents....sounds like you about have to be a computer wizard just to post.

Also I know you are supposed to strip some kind of data from the pictures that stores information ....no clue how to do all of that.

However,I am quite interested. Would be nice to have a journal on here to keep information from grows organized. Plus, with all of the help I've received from icmag members over the past couple years, it would be nice to be on the giving end of the information. That is, afterall, the reason we come here. To learn and help others learn about the wonderful plants we grow. (Well, most people...some people come just to be trolls, or so it seems! Lol)

I'll do some more reading today on security and see if I can find my camera. Once I get it going you should stop in and contribute. Always looking for constructive advice on ideas to make things better.

Peace of mind is priority one.

It's okay to post a thread without pics, as long as you keep
up with updates and finish the grow.

Everyone here has a good enough idea of what's what.

And the information you post here on icmag.com will be valuable
to you later on. No need to have notes of your grow laying around
the house for prying eyes, lol.

Well.

The summer high temperatures are slowing me down.

The one plant in flower is okay, starting to bud nicely.

Not much luck with germination, of fourteen only one
popped. That one cost over a hundred bucks, lol.

Germination takes place in my office, which is climate
controlled. Heat not a factor in fail.

Had high expectations, now am done with seedbanks,
will only order direct from breeders.

Am very glad to continue the project, but will pick up the
pace as the weather cools a bit.

Fucking bullshit.

DC. Sorry to hear of your misfortune with germination. Those seeds missed out on "the good life". Hopefully the lone survivor makes up for any feelings of loss u might feel! ;)

Yup.

Lone survivor is a White Rhino by Nirvana.

If its a girl it will continue to the flower box after cuttings
taken.

Culled if its male.

Going with Ace gear, any other breeder ship to US?

DC. I've had great luck with herbies pick n mix. I know they aren't "direct from the breeder" but even when I've had issues they made things right. My close friend used bcbud and so far so good with them. Took them a while to process his order, but germ rate was 100% on some gsc.

My order was from Herbie's. No love from them as they only sell
souvenirs, their word for seeds.

Germination not guaranteed, or even talked about, lol.

That's par for the coarse, I have had only 4 seeds germinate
from the orders I have place over the last three years to seedbanks.

All the seeds I make germinate, so I have that going for me.

Switching to nitric acid for pH down, some mums are
suffering from phosphoric acid toxicity from the GH pH down.

It's the heat. And hard water, I add SM-90 and silicon
to my GH 6/9.

Also started adding the Ful-Power by BioAg.

Will need to adjust the micro a little to even things up.

This hobby is getting in the way of my job, lol.
But in the end i hope to provide some insight to
wayward indoor growers in coco.

Man, I wish I could grow in a room instead of a box.

They say its only a weed, and easy to grow.

I don't know...

Agreed. As a micro grower there are lots of factors that make things more challenging. I often think if my space was just a little bigger it would make things easier. I come onto icmag and see all of the growers pushing their monster plants to yield as much as they can. Sure wish I could approach growing like that.

....and the ph swings from small pot size......don't get me going on that.

...however, micro growing forces a person to pay close attention to details and to learn to control the plants and adjust to their differences in structure and such. It is quite an art, and from what I've seen, you have it under control. Good luck DC.

Thanks for those words of encouragement. What doesn't
kill them makes them stronger, lol.

Have you read any of the yogurt cup grow threads?

Some mind blowing plants there grown in small
cups.

Most very successful, some, not so much, lol.

Culled the bagseed mum today, genetics circa 1979.

She was the female donor for the Bagseed x NYCD X Sensi Star
project.

My reason is to increase the value of the progeny. The F1 seeds
I have are the only ones there are of those genetics.

For the hell of it really, lol. Who would want genetics from
thirty six years ago anyway.

Will miracles never cease.

One of the Cheese Dog seeds has sprouted, looks pale,
must have been upside down in the media for a while.

Two weeks to pop surface.

If it survives, that will make two germination from fourteen,
still a poor ratio by any standards.

But just like the dancing bear, it's not that he dances well,
it's that he dances at all, lol.

It would be extraordinary if that cheese dog made it.

Honestly, these seeds are better off just tossed, not used to working
this hard to get germination.

After all , that bagseed plant I just retired was from 30 year old seeds.

lol.

That cheese dog seedling bit the dust, I discarded all the other
seeds.

Done and done.

Ordering from Ace seeds, their Katsu x HashPlant fem will fill
in for the failed chem dog project that never was, lol.

I'll reverse some of them Katsu x HashPlant to get even closer to
that Bubba by Katsu.
