Got some Cream Brûlée auto from Hypno seeds

Also some Strawberry Cake auto from Heavyweight seeds

Turns out I can veg them auto seeds and flip to 12/12

Will pop them seeds and see whats what.

Conventional wisdom says auto seeds will yield less with 12/12.

We'll see.

SBR x WR x WR seeded plant is drying, fair amount of mature seeds.

90 days to chop, she's drying in a paper bag

Them seeds will be popped after some time in cold storage.

Tossed the F20302 x WR x WR seeded plant, few seeds, meh.

Also tossed the Cacao Kush and F20302 plant in flower,
the summer heat did them no favors.

Four plants flipped, two SBR and F20302 x P1 a couple weeks ago.

Cuts rooting of same.

Been a couple months since I have fresh yield, these plants will be welcome stash.

Popped five Maple Leaf Indica seeds, Sensi Seeds.
From an order I placed back in June 2021.

Popped one Strawberry Cake AUTO (Chronic x White Widow x Cheese)
from heavyweightseeds.com. A freebie.

That auto seed plant will veg a few weeks and then flip and go 11/13 for the duration.
Conventional wisdom states that auto plants done this way may yield less.

No worries, my first auto genetics cultivar.

Seeds at least two years in cold storage, but I have popped much older seeds.

Them seeds will soak in in plain water until tails show,
maybe three or four days

We'll see.

Fuck yeah!

Potted the MLI and Strawberry Cake AUTO seeds in small seedling soil cups.

One Strawberry Cake AUTO and five MLI.

Popped some MLI a couple years ago, but now I want a male.

In three days will soak some SBR x (WR x WR).

The MLI seeds were four bucks a seed, If they fail, no worries

Lots more genetics in the stable to play with.

That one Strawberry Cake AUTO plant robust, will increase feed rate in prep to up pot.

Feel free to reply about your failed seeds, as well as the ones that were surprising keepers.

I lost a lot of seeds in my early grows by trying to germ at room temp (c 18-20C / 68F). Keeping temps between 25-30C made a huge difference. I dont bother with pre-germing in paper towels any more as I often kill the seedlings whilst transplanting them.

Soaking SBR x WR x WR seeds, tails showing.

Binned the MLI seeds, they all rotted before germination.

SBR x WR x WR soaked seeds potted to seedling mix.

Four plants in flower, two SBR and two F20302 X P1 budding up.

A male Agent lemon and a female Cacao Kush in veg doing well.

Will take cuttings of the Cacao Kush and flip, she's a good plant.

Also a Strawberry Cake AUTO seedling in veg

Pics when I get around to it.

Binned some of the SBR x (WR x WR) seedlings, they stalled and rotted.

One sprout above ground.

Potted three more that had soaked, we'll see.

Strawberry Cake AUTO plant doing well, will up pot to 16oz cup soon.

All the SBR x (WR x WR) seedlings have seed case stuck.

Unusual, most of the seeds I have popped for years come up without the seed case.

Easy remedy, but I wonder if genetic or environment.

All the seeds placed in soil mix about one inch deep when potted.

Anyone have a batch of seeds sprout with the seed case stuck on all them, I wonder.

Some seed batches definitely seem more prone to this. Planting directly to soil is one of the better ways to reduce stuck cases, in my experience.
