Lookin good tokabowl ....... Can you just take out that center in cabinet altogether .. are you happy with cool tube , was thinking my self of getting one after Xmass and a hydro hut ... keeep up the good work mate :friends:
Thanks Cobo :friends:
Unfortunately I couldnt take the whole middle piece out or else i wouldnt have been able to have the shelf in there to hold the ballast and fan and timers and plugs etc... Im very happy with the cooltube, make sure you have enough ventilation though, the RVK100 (4inch) is enough for my 400w, but thats without a carbon filter, you would need a 5" (RVK125 for ex) min for a 400w and a carbon filter (if that's on Santa's list too ), bigger if youve got more watts...
Well the buds are properly starting to grow now, and the early one is really packing on the trichomes already and the others are catching it up.
Temps in there when lights on are in between 26 and 29C and lights off 17-20C. I have no idea about the rh, my guess is quite low, but they seem pretty happy anyway...
Gonna give them their first shot of pk13-14 the next watering (in about 2 days i think), and the watering after that too...
Here are some pics, I managed to get hold of a better cam this time so enjoy:
This is the more sativa influenced one, notice there are more trichomes on the bottom of the leaf than on top...
Flowering is well on its way now, the early one is really starting to fill up and is oozing resin. It smells very strong and sweet. The 3 others have the same kinda smell but arent as developped yet, while the sativa pheno has a more earthy and piney smell to it
I added some PK13-14 to their feeding mix yesterday and ill add some next time I water aswell (also feeding Terra Flores and a bit of Terra Vega, Bio Boost, Cannazym, and Rhyzotonic), we should be expecting some explosive bud growth within the next week or so
Here are pics from today:
Macros
The sat. dom. :
Overall, for the moment, I am very pleased with these plants. They smell wonderfall, look promising potency-wise, and they tolerate nutes very well (Ive been feeding them nutes every watering so far, just slightly under full-strength according to the Canna schedule).
They also tolerate heat well, my temps are usually in the 28-30C range and they are showing no sign of heat stress whatsoever, thats probably because their parents are used to the hot outdoor summer and sun
Yield-wise Im not sure what to expect at all since they only vegged for a week... but Im just glad I can let them go for the full run, I wouldve hated to have to chop them in a weeks time...
Well its been one month since the lights were switched and things arent looking too bad at all.
I am amazed at how the buds are fattening up 3 days after feeding them the pk 13-14, it really seems to have given them a boost, the pics speak for themselves. I will feed them again tomorrow with the same mix as last time (this will be the second and last time i give them pk13-14).
There really is one star plant among the lot of them, what a beauty, probably is the one that resembles DP Buddha the most, though the smell is definitely sweeter. She's a real stinker too, when she's ready it will just be one huge cola on a stick :
Thanks Insomniac
Yea they did respond well to the LST, and it enabled me to use the more of the surface area I has available. I'm glad I left one to grow normally though, it didn't stetch the slightest bit (which is extremely surprising since they were hardly vegged at all), and the main cola will definitely be bigger than any of the other ones
The lights off temps are gettin quite low now the weather is becoming a bit colder, they are usually in between 15 and 18C. Hopefully this will help bring out any colours the genetics might be hiding... (Lights on temps are pretty stable in between 25 and 28C, the cooltube being about 25-30cm (10-12") away from the tops...)
Hi guys, first of all, best wishes to all of you in this new year :friends:
I havent been around for a while, and I was also away from my garden for about 2 weeks. Everything went well during that time, and f**k me what a surprise when i got back!
The girls are now 66 days old from seed, and have been in 12/12 for 55 days, nearly 8 weeks.
The stocky plant in the corner got the chop tonight, perfect timing indeed trichome-wise, but it only got 6 days flush...
Looks and smells great and the buds are rock solid, hard to estimete an overall yield, but looks very promising indeed.
These are real stinkers! Im afraid my little vaportek unit doesnt cut it for these bitches! The whole house whifts of weed Im going to grab a carbon scrubber asap and somehow try and fit it in my cab
I guess the last crop wasnt quite as smelly... Bubblegum and Chronic that was...
Anyway, one of the other plants is going to get the chop in the next day or so, and 2 other plants a couple of days after that, while the sativa dom one imho can go for another week
Here are some pics:
The lot:
One side of the cab:
The middle of the cab, this plant is taking on some really nice colours, slightly purple :
Thanks JP!
I know what u mean man i lost quite a bit of bud to mold this year from my outdoor crop, not much we can do about it, apart from planting more to compensate for the losses Hope yours turn out alright too.
Here are a couple more pics of the remaining 4 plants when lights off, we can see their colour better than with the hps on:
See bagseed is like the weather..Sometimes it is not what you expected but when it rains, it pours...I love this shot..Those nuggets look great..Nice work..keep it up..
.... wow.. bagseed, no shit.. The trich's on those plants, especially the star, remind me a bit of bog's strains.. Beautiful plants my man, good luck with harvest!! Should be a memorable one!!
Well two more ladies met their fate yesterday. One of them is similar to the 1st one that was harvested, apart from the fact it was slightly trained, but was a bit less mature. The smell is very similar too. The second one is the colourful one, smaller buds on this one for sure and a bit more leaf, will yield less than the 2 previous ladies but is a different type. The smell is much more fruity, somewhere in between rhubarb and grapefruit, simply delicious The two first ones smell somewhat stronger, but not really a fruity aroma, more sort of a mix of petrol and spices lol .
Here are a couple of pics:
From the two plants that are left, one is the sativa influenced one that i m giving at least another week to finish. This one is likely going to be the highest yielding of the lot. It smells different to all of the others, more piney.
The last one is a mix of the 4 other phenotypes, it looks like the colorful fruity smelling one, smells a bit fruity but that petrol aroma is still there, and the bud structure is more airy and loose nearly like the sativa but nowhere near as big... This one should be done in the next couple of days too.
Ill post pics of the two last standing ones tonight when lights come on...
