Day 21 from seed, 10 days 12/12

Right well its been 3 weeks since the seeds popped out of the soil, and a week and a half since i flipped the lights, and they started showing sex today.
So far, one has declared itself male and one as far as i can tell is female. The 5 others still arent showing but I expect they will within the next couple of days. The female is the shortest plant of the lot but has the most advanced side branching so far. I'm not going to train these like I did in my previous grows, just aiming to get a main cola on each, then again that depends on how many females I end up with...
Here are some pics:

Day 23 from seed, 12 days 12/12

Thanks Insomniac:yes:

Well its just over 3 weeks since they appeared from the ground and nearly 2 flowering...
I transplanted them today because they were starting to get rootbound in those bottles...
So far I have 2 confirmed males, these are the two taller, stretchy plants... Only one other plant is showing female preflowers but the 4 other remaining ones are definitely more like the female phenotype wise (shorter and stockier, short internode spacing and more developed side branching...) so I hope they all will be female :canabis:
Theres still one presumed female i havent transplanted, thats because i ran out of soil... ill grab some more asap

Here are some pics, theyre a little bit dry ill water them tonight... I might up the levels of veg nutes in the mix too, coz some look like they could do with a bit more N :chin:

I'm keeping the males in there for the moment, until the other 4 plants have shown their :)bow: female ) sex... There arent any proper flowers to be pollinated yet and the polen sacs are not mature atm so im not too worried...
I will keep an eye on them tho and take them out if pollen starts flying about hehe...

Nah mate its sorted now :D
I found a trustworthy babysitter for them, they will be going for the full run! Now that just means i hope they wont be ready for the chop before i get back :chin: coulda gave them an extra week veg, but whatever lol... There wont be an indoor christmas harvest this year, but ive got this years outdoor harvest waiting for me where im going so that wont be an issue :D. It will be a good start to 2007 tho and when they are done i will be running different genetics as Ill have my cab proper dialled in then (this is my first grow in this wardrobe...).

Did I mention I am upgrading the cab with a 400W cooltube?

Day 26 from seed, 15 days 12/12

Right well here are today's pics, one of the girls is hardly stretching at all and is already starting to show a lot of pistils, another one is quite short and stocky too but isnt starting to flower as fast, two others are a bit more stretchy and hardly flowering yet, and the one i havent repotted yet is quite tall and lanky but seems to be the healthiest of the lot...

I really like the look of these plants. I wish someone could identify what they are so I could go to the bay and buy some..

I have been watching the thread with interest, and thanks to your detailed updates have been using it as a marker to compare my own grow to see weather or not I am progressing decently for a first grow. At first it appeared pretty close, but damn your girls are just taking off!

Those big fat leaves look so good, any thought about keeping a boy alive to knock up one of those plants and put it on the market?

Hi Heirloom, thank you very much and good luck with your grow.

I doubt you will find any of these seeds on the Bay :D
Theres a little history behind them in the first post of this thread...
Now as said there, I have a couple 100s of these seeds (not a LOT, but still...) I am willing to send to Gypsy to help out with the Boutique's freebies...
Nothing would please me more than to share these genetics with the community, but since Im no qualified breeder and cannot guarantee the stability/outcome of the seeds, it wouldnt be right to sell them... so I figure giving them away for free is the way to go :D

These are two of the plants i had outdoors this summer:

9931IMG_5534.JPG

9931cab_003.jpg

One of them got supercropped by accident and had a Mg def quite early on (I never fed them any nutes...),
9931IMG_5536.JPG

99319931cab_005.jpg

and the other was 7ft+ by the time it started flowering :yummy: .
9931IMG_5533.JPG

Some bud was lost to mould (they are quite prone to it outdoors if the weather becomes shitty around harvest time) but even so, both plants together yielded 110g (about 4oz).
I had 6 other of these plants (same beans) in another location that was exposed better to the sun and had lower humidity and they yielded a whopping 700g (thats just over 4oz/ plant!)

Happy daze

It looks to me like this one is starting to hermie, but im not 100% sure yet so ill keep an eye on it:

9931day_31_006.jpg

I thought that 400W might have been overkill in the cab, mostly because of heat, but im amazed at how the cooltube is effective, even 25 cm away from the tops: temps are pretty stable around 26C... thats a bit lower than with the 2 other lights (and the 150w was at least 40cm away from the tops)!

Neil, my outdoor season was pretty succesful, I cant wait to sample the harvest :yummy: The supercropping did end up ok, but it took a bit more than a week to heal and that was a couple weeks into flower, so im sure it hindered the yield somewhat (more than if it'd been done while vegging)...

Day 35 from seed, 24 days 12/12

Day 35 from seed, 24 days 12/12

Well its been a while since I update this thread, the ladies seem to be loving the extra light, and are nicely filling the cab. I ended up LSTing all but one, which hasnt stretched at all and is ahead of all the others in her budding, its strarting to pack on the trichomes already. The one I thought was hermieing on me Im pretty sure is a female, but its definitely more sativa dom than the others and stretched by far the most out of the lot. Another one of them is more indica dom like most, but it is late in budding, there are hardly any pistils yet, which is quite weird because even the sat. dom. is more developped than this one... :chin:

Anyway here are some pics:

9931day35_013.jpg

Here is the fastest one that I didn't train, you can see the trichs on the leaves (kinda anyway, sorry bout the quality, my cam isnt great for closeups...)

9931day35_007.jpg

9931day35_009.jpg

9931day35_014.jpg

This is the sativa dominant one (also on the left in pic 2 and 3), that I tied down yesterday so it hasnt had enough time to straiten up yet, you can see the leaves are thinner and the bud structure is definitely different too, more airy and loose:
