Thanks man, and ya its getting cold as fuck but i see what you're saying about the nute compensation. I have pretty well kept the same nute recipe. I only added a little Fish Emulsions to keep the leaves on there. The lower one had already fallen off. I should hav ethe pics of the 3rd one up soon. Its that time of the school year again so i'm kept pretty busy. I'll be back in a couple weeks to give an update and new pics. Thanks again HempKat. Hope you like this next one.
Peace.

All that matters is that you like the next one

Hemp Kat, i could not have said it better my self. The fact of the matter was that i needed to produce my own light. So naturally i went down to the local grow store and discovered that the price of a ballast, hood, and bulb had dropped to $80 all together. So as followed i constructed a grow box, insulated it added some florescents to fill out the spectrum as best i could and bought a bad ass 3 1/2" inline fan the blows hardcore. I now have most of the components for a grow cabinet i just need to find the right cab. If anybody has any personal suggestions please feel free to add your 2 cents. Other than that i have a pretty good idea of what i'm looking for. The mill pride club sure helped alot. Well i got some dope ass pics comin soon so every ody have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and enjoy your self as we come upon this new year. Hope it's a fruitful one!
Peace.

It sounds like you're not too afraid of a little do it yourself type work, so why not just build your own cabinet? For that matter, if you are willing to build it why stop at a cabinet? Why not a closet that not only is your grow box but a drying box too and when nothing needs to be dried that space could be used to store supplies.

Imagine this if you will, lets say you have a room that is say a basement or a spare room towards the back of the house that only you go in usually. Lets say just for visualization this room is mostly empty and the dimensions are 10 feet wide, 14 feet long and nine feet high. Now lets say in one of the rear corners from where you enter the room you build two walls that form an opposing corner with each side or wall being 2 feet long, such that if you closed it in you would have something close to a booth. Now facing whichever wall would feel the most comfortable for access create 2-4 doors or openings, depending on how many seperate chambers you would want. Just to keep it simple lets say we cut it in half and make two 4.5 foot chambers. Actually you would design and create these spaces as you build the framework and the doors could end up just being you cutting the panelling for that wall in half and putting hinges on it.

Since the chambers would be one on top of the other you would need to create a divide that is the ceiling for one side and the floor for the other. Work into the design that between the ceiling of the lower chamber and the floor of the upper chamber is where you have your exhaust vent such that the lower chamber has a passive intake and an active exhaust but the upper chamber has an active intake and a passive exhaust or an active one if you want to force it thru a carbon scrubber when exhausting the upper chamber. Now since you would be using two existing walls that form an existing corner, you could actually build the other two walls and corner of these chambers seperate anb then incorporate brackets on the walls and ceiling/floor section in order to mount what you built to the existing walls and corner. Having then mounted it firmly to the existing walls you could then seal where it joins to both make it air/light tight and more like it's part of the design of the room. If you are clever about it you could have something that could turn a corner in almost any 9 foot tall room into a stealth growbox with a drying/storage area above, that could be attached and taken down as needed. Filling in holes later should you want to make things look like it was never there. For the drying option you would have to create some sort of way to hang rows of branches from a harvested plant, after it was installed.

One benefit to this design I would think is you would be taking the best advantage of thermal dynamics since heat rises and things like co2 and humidity that could benefit a plant, being heavier, tends to fall. Plus if using a decent HID you're going to generate some heat to exhaust into the drying area.

Anyway, aside from what I'm suggesting there are a number of good do it yourself things out there. Not that there is anything wrong with those premade cabinets beyond the use of particle board but I think it's better to make the grow space match your needs rather then try to make your needs match a premade cabinet.

Whatever you do I'm sure it will be okay though, you'll definately like the benefit the stronger light will have.

...and last but not least...

...and last but not least...

Out of the 3 bag seeds i had left i have recieved 1 hermie, 1 full flowered female, and 1 slow growing female...

when i left last i was out doors and after i moved in the garage i was able to stabalize her growth and "beef her up" as best as possible before it got too cold.

:2cents: If i had it to do over again i would have started and finished indoors and have found that mother nature is too hard to control. I love what i have learned about growing this wonderful plant. I hope to learn more and more and i grow myself.
:yeahthats: This time i have built a cabnet and am working out the final schematics before i put her into action. I have 600w of florecent light in a 4x2x4 box. Panda Poly on the sides and a 6" dect fan to vent the three 2 3/4", 90 degrees angled PVC pipe elbows. I will take moe pics when i get around to it. If anybody has any advice or intel on what i'm fixin to get my self into please feel free to add. Till then i'll just keep readin. Thanks again all for the help so far.
Peace!
