autos acually outyeild typical strains gpw per year.

photoperiod is the only advantage to AF strains

"soil ph measurements etc etc." are still an issue

haven't had any ph issues...... haven't ph checked my water once with autos and never had an issue

this is my first year growing auto and for the most part i love them and i plan to do more but the only 2 set backs for autos that no one mentioned

1) with the lights running that long your electricity goes up (12/12 gives you a break)

2)you are limited at selections its a pretty small window of strain selection (reg plants have no limits)

thats the only down side i see to autos and when atleast the number 2 problem is addressed reg's still hold the advantage and also you will pay more in the long run for having that bulb on for 24 hrs cause it will raise your bill and you have to change the bulb more often.....but if did a huge auto grow out side in spring reg's cant touch that lol outdoor bud grown under the sun just in time for a summer toke

Good observation on the light schedule, that is something i put into my equation when i did the numbers to see what yeilds higher, there is people on the forum runnning autos on 12/12 also claiming there yeilds are pretty much the same as people doing 20/4. in the thread i gave u guys the link to with the blueberry aks i believe it was 16 hours of light, and increase but not double 12/12 by any means.

i think its invalid to say autos are seseme street plants, like they are fool proof,, can some explain this to me? whats changed aside from the fact that u dont have to keep the plants perfectly dark during there flowering time,so u cant visit your plants in the nite, wow!! i see no differance none. u actually have very small room for error because of the short veg cycle.. i think they(autos n traditional cannabis) are the same in my opinon, but then again alot of people think weeds hard to grow to begin with so to each his own.
