Autoflower Orgy!

C

ChynaRyder

Wow arctic, way to grow em....en masse! I hope you are able to pull off that outdoor grow....it would further show why autos have an important place in our community.

Best of luck to you, and I am eager to add some beans to your pot!

Hi articsun!
You are doing a great job! A lot of dwarfs together!
SISU seems to be a productive AF. It's a cross you've made? And can you tell me more about the autoflower strain used to do the auto AK47?
I haven't heard it before.

Greetings!

Hiya guys

very impressive!! :joint: Love the large structure, would be wonderful outdoors, have you done Pehkuruder outdoors?

No I havent myself, but If you look at that post w the pehkuruder pictures there is a link at the bottom to a post in another thread w pictures of an outdoor grow w/PKR at latitude 63 north or thereabouts.

Uh...I heard there was an orgy goin' on in here....:smoke:

Nice stuff Arctic!!!

The more the merrier ;)

Somehow...I knew the orgy part caught your attention, before I even read your post....

:jump:

Great looking orgy Arctic!

:thank you:

Thank you for the reply Mate, plant are looking soooo good. What you are working on just up my alley as I my self have to fight wet short summers. but on the other side of the world...

Ahh lets see what becomes of this then, ill be watching for your outdoor threads :D

nice AF-frenzy you got going there mate. always a delight to see some top-quality finnish genetics going on as well. should probably start haulin' some outdoor-seeds myself for those long summernights in the 70° latitude, any thoughts on what to plant? should be 100% autoflower and very mold and cold resistant strain, pure lowryders have been a real disappointment cause they tend to get moldy but LR2's seem to survive the fall with couple weeks indoor growth before planting

btw; lolled at your signature, now i cant get that viking-video off my head :biglaugh:

Heheheeyy bro, yeah lets see how this goes, I think we are going to have to test a shitload of strains to figure out whats best. I havent done any outdoor yet, but hoping for a "good" summer. HAHAHHAA

Ill try loads of different grow techniques this summer i think, I have no idea what will work. So much to learn about outdoor growing lol. We dont have much of a culture up here for growing anything much other then potatoes and strawberries hahaha.

oh btw, ill accredit you for that signature. :D

Indeed, let me tell you guys, if we can get the Alaskans and Scandinavians growing, then we are up for a lot of fun all of us :D GOD I hope I can pull off a bean harvest atleast this summer, to keep the project going :D

Thanks for the descriptive info, Arctic!

Hi babe

Greetings!

SISU= AK47/Finx, Pictures of the FinX below the Sisu :D I didnt create the FinX cross, but I made the SISU! These arent commercial strains in any way, cant buy them. So thanks to ICMag and mods and all for letting us use the bandwidth for this. Im hoping it will have informational value to all if nothing else. Maybe, just maybe if GRRReat success.. some kind of cross will some day make it to the server fund as a thanks for the hospitality. But lets test this and play around with autos and see what becomes of it first. Nobody wants unstable genetics in any way.

Pehkuruder is the other strain used in my private little auto AK47 project, there is a seperate post for the pehkuruder also if you scroll up, with all the information, including a link to an outdoor grow ;) But I have some "normal" auto AK47s aswell, they were reproduced by some private breeder, but came from some seedshop originally. Dont know which.

Peace all, thanks for the interest. Ill get back w more pics soon as they get alittle bigger. Running the room quite cold, floor temperature is 15 degrees, maxtemp in the room is approx 21 degrees C.

bwhahah, no need to add quotations bro
just from keen interest, what latitude you're gonna try outdoors this summer? i've had a few runs myself varying from 61°-70° but never really succeeded with any. well.. last summer i would have had a decent yield from couple of LR2:s mut some mofo found my premature babies and decided to jack 'em about a month too early. i think thats what u get from growing them near a big intriguing raspberry-bush :bashhead:
maybe this year i should be even more guerrilla and plant them in trees cause i too like to climb a lot

hehe yea looks like there may be a club of tree growers this summer in the north lolol..

Too bad about your previous grows, but many new strains have come on marked recently so no reason to give up :D I think its very important to choose the right spot aswell. We have one of the wettest and the dryest areas in the country within just a few metric miles up here. One valley is rainy as fuck, the next one over is dry as dust lol. One fjord has no snow, the next one has 2 meters hehe. Lets make a thread about growing conditions in the national forum shall we?

Ill may be trying from about 67 and up to about 70 north I think, depending. We will see, if a bad summer, then I may consider going further south and looking at 65-67 north.

Hi again articsun!
Excuse me but my english isn't so good. You are telling me that if a cross (auto or no) isn't from a seed vendor from this forum ICMAG won't allow me to show it here because it can be a kind of spam?

Thanks!

If herms turns up in the Pehkuruders in this generation, then thats a years worth of work for nothing?

Don't worry too much about hermies m8! I just find hermies from Serious BubbleGum, Mosca Negras C99, Next Generations Avalon and Romulan.
If the pro breeders have hermies with their seeds, I don't think you should worry about them either! My personal policy is that I don't breed or make clones from plants that has any hermi tendencies, if possible.
I have now 2 BG males that show fem flowers, But I want to make more BG seeds, so I use those fuckers. I just don't use them for any F1 work.

Avalon is btw looking very interesting strain for us nordic growers, very fast flowering, some AF-tendencies. Males flowered under 24h light. I made cross with Solid Bottom. Next summer I plan to do F2 seed run, and in couple years we should have awesome nordic auto without any LowRyder in it.

I would also love to see your auto/non auto hybrids if you have any. Please dont be shy to post up pics and/or to give me pointers or tell me what Im doing wrong. Id love help with selecting parents, the only goal here is to learn from each other as much as we can. I usually blabber on in my threads about whatever is on my mind, and I love it when you guys do the same :D

You asked for it! Here's 2 Solid Bottoms grown at 60NL, GO SUOMI-POIKA!!!

Hey AC........Look'n killer bro!!!

I've been trying to get some of those strains to try out hear in Canada for a while now, it'll be cool to see how they work out for ya!!

Hey Kaneh........Ive used male that sport female flowers in crosses before. I have DJ Shorts book and he says that he has found these males that sport female flowers to be genetically valuable so I figure Id give it a shot. The outcome was 80% females, 20% males (out of 100 seeds popped) NO hermaphadism at all, I could pick out alot of the Pollen donors traits quit easily.........Smell, trich coverege......Structure. It was pretty interesting, Id do it again for sure..........Even just to test it out again.

Keep up the good work everybody........I got this tagged!!!!

Subscribed:) Pehkuruder sounds like it's very close to the holy grail of AF for outdoor if the potency is up there.
Even if it isn't it could prove to be a very nice place to start.

Hey bro, im not big on rules, but afaik one is not supposed to talk too much about non seedbank related commercial strains. My strains are however very non commercial. This project is in "spirit" with the OG movement, and it is in "spirit" with the speech that Gypsy makes in the video on the front page.

Working on it bro, some Russian friends are doing a hell of a job getting a hold of fresh landrace Siberian genes. Very vigorous looking strains ;) We will see how this pehkuruder does.

Ill see if I can find some info on the Avalon, thanks for the heads up, looks great.

Thats awesome bro, thanks for sharing, whats the genetic makeup of the solid bottom? (the parents, whats the parents? :D)

I know my friend, we will have more interesting strains as this plays along. Im but one of many that are pulling a great load in the work with autos, and some are out there in the Siberian mountains looking for new landrace genetics to work with. But please feel free to use them for research purps, we would be glad for any info provided and especially if they had any purpose in your project.

Thanks for the info bro, thinking in terms of male and female as the only 2 states of nature is ignorant. Nature shows us that everything in between male and female exists, it is wu to think only male and female are the true states of nature. Very interesting how a feminine male creates a high percentage of female offspring. Think about it ;)

These beans ARE available to those that can understand some basic natural concepts, for free ;) Thats a riddle for you, think about it, maybe you can find them :D Wu wisdom will lead you there. :ying:

Great aim, great plan, great stuff arctic. Love your intentions.

:lurk:

Thanks Bom, and thanks for all the great inspiration, keep shining brother.

Lets take the pheno observations when we get to the sexing ;)

Picture of how its coming along, the F1's are the ones that has come the furthest, the smallest ones are aAK47 and pure Pehkuruders. Its getting cramped, I cant wait to get the males out of there.

Thats awesome bro, thanks for sharing, whats the genetic makeup of the solid bottom? (the parents, whats the parents? :D)

It's not hybrid. It's cross made in finland in late -90s, I think.
It has Skunk#1, Ruderalis, and Parvati-landrace genetics in it.
When I got the seeds, it had HUGE variation in phenotypes and it was not 100% AF. Now It's very stable AF strain.

I just grow older generations of my Solid Bottom-line and there's one interesting phenotype to be found: Very stretchy Parvati type plant that is full autoflowering. It makes awesome hash, if you like charash/chilum combo. I have preferred short and skunky plants for my selections, because it's difficult to hide 2-3 meter high plants... ;)
