Looks very nice Chronosync!
Hoping for a massive harvest for you!
Peace farmerlion

Thank you farmerlion, I could use one - you looking awesome over there as well. Big tree!!

Thanks everyone for showing off their auto z and talking about it, its great to see all of the different ones in different environments and to have some reference. My first auto also and no idea what to expect. Mine started flowering like 4-5 weeks also. Like clocks then.

These are beautiful plants you guys at ace have come up with - some magic you've made marrying the forever blooming, equatorial sativa with the quick and hardy polar-dwelling ruderalis - two extremes melded together - its so amazing seeing (and smelling) the sativa expressions right out in my yard under real sun!

Looks excellent musigny23 :jump: A pleasure to see you catched up the outdoor season.
Really nice outcome in such short time, hope you are pleased with your first experience with our autoflowering genetics!
They ripe very fast, probably 2 more weeks, or just a few days more.

My first auto grow. I had 3 seeds but I mishandled 2 of the sprouts so I have just this one. Doing well so far it seems. July here has had many cool cloudy days which can happen but this has been more than usual. Still, this one is flowering robustly. All white pistils, so still growing.

I haven't kept track of flowering time but I germinated the seed about May 18-20 so this is about 65-66 days from germination.

Yes it's been a strange season for many reasons but doing ok. :)

The auto thing is pretty cool. I had never grown any before and they are certainly fast and easy to grow. Can't wait to try it when it's done.
I guess I was waiting for one that seemed like it would not just be fast but also about as good as full season strains. An auto Zamaldelica seemed like it would be the one.

I'm just seeing a few red/brown pistils now so I guess full maturity will be soon, maybe 12-14 days.

My meristem folded over today while I was at work. I have it supported now with a stake. I hope I didn't hurt any roots putting it in the soil. I also had to zip tie up some of the side branches. Gravity is winning the bud battle right now. The buds are very dense and heavy with seed. I think she will overcome the kinked meristem within a few days.

I didn't get home from work before it started getting dark. The toppled Auto Zamaldelica female looked very good this evening. It's hot as a mofo here right now. The plants just got water this evening. They will all get some love in the morning with coffee as I get a day off! WOOWEED !!!

I put the seed In the dirt on 3/20, I think this started flowering around 6/14 (though could be just when i noticed it) .... looking pretty good considering less then ideal conditions (high humidity, wind, cold)... i just hit it with some compost tea and big bloom for the final few weeks). To address my fog problem I’ve introduced a dehumidifier to blow dry air directly on it, though my “greenhouse” is basically open to the outside, just shower curtains loosely wrapped around wire racks, so running a dehumidifier in fog feels like bailing out the ocean.

Definitely an amazing auto!

Got two diferent phenos, one is stouter and has a dominant glue/cedar/resin smell that reminds me to NL.

The other is much more NLD, thinner leaves, typical Zam citrics/mango though more lemony scent; grew twice the size of her sister.

Pic taken yesterday, plant sown on 20200605 never saw an auto develop such a stalk at her age:

Here they can be seen, nld leaning background left, NL leaning middle:

Around 1 meter tall w/o pot... rest of the girls are photoperiod ones, were sown by the same date.

Welcome Foggy420 :)

What a beautiful Auto Zam you have there! Really nice sativa dom pheno, i think it was a right choice to feed her again before she is close to finish and start with the flushing. Thanks for sharing yours!

10 weeks

these are also running out of steam in the pots and are yellowing out. with only 4 - 5 weeks left I'm not sure whether to feed or if they are going into senescence. I was hoping to do water only on these but I'd hate to see them fall early due to weakness and poor nutrition.

One of my taller, sativa leaners showed some balls and some brown rot but I was able to take off what was less than pleasing and let the plant continue. She is showing the most red/brown hairs and appears to be farther along then the rest despite the wicked sativa look. (last plant in pics)

Hi chronosync,

Really nice buddage for such small plants, always good to see more buds than leaves :D
I don't think they will need 4-5 weeks more, these autos ripe super fast, i'm checking your close up pictures of the flowers on IG and look like can easily be harvested in 2-3 weeks.
I don't see them starve so much for such stage of flowering, maybe you can feed them once more and then consider to start flushing.

dubi,

Thank you, its a pleasure to grow them! Amazingly beautiful plants especially when you are up close and working with them.

I should add; Its been very humid here and often foggy at night. Also they have been getting heavy light pollution from a neighbors light as its on a motion sensor and comes on randomly after dark. All in all the weather has been good though, with much more sun than rain and have so far missed a few storms, so that helps :biglaugh:

I'll be checking trichs daily, these plants are too quick!

Really beautiful plants Chronosync and Vitulla. I am growing Auto Zams this summer as well... I mixed them up with my Auto MalawixNL's so I am holding off showing off pictures here until I can figure out which is which.

This thread is getting me excited!

2020 grow

2020 grow

In just 10 days since my last post this plant has advanced a lot. I'd say it has entered the maturity window but I prefer to take it a little further. Lots of red/brown pistils, about 50/50 with white ones. I'm guessing about 5-7 more days at the pace it's going.

Next time I'm going to be way more timely with transplanting early on. This plant did fine but is smaller than some other examples posted. It's about 81 cm (31 inches) and clearly these can and should attain 100+ cm, maybe even 1.5 m. Other than taking a few extra days to transplant to a larger container, I really don't know what it was that caused it to end up a bit shorter than it could have been. Overall health was good.

I'm estimating about 100 grams of dried trimmed flower. We'll see.
