Unfortunately the Feds have decided that cannabis growers/users have no second amendment rights. Makes this situation more complicated.

To what specific laws are you referring if you have the time to give me a few links, it definitely piqued my interest. (non MMJ state resident )

How does 8K of soil = a legal grow?

Both Counties that i have 30 acre plots allow me to to have 99 plants. If you buy premixed soil and use a yard a pot and a yard is $200 i would say that is well within legal limits as i spent more than double what he spent on just one spot and i am in legal limits

5. No guns for drug users. Federal law also says that any person "who is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance" is barred from possessing guns. 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(3). What does that mean? Good question. "[T]he exact reach of the statute is not easy to define," to say the least! United States v. Jackson, 280 F.3d 403, 406 (4th Cir.), cert. denied, 536 U.S. 911 (2002).
The consensus seems to be that the statute does not apply to "infrequent" drug users or to those who used drugs in the "distant past." Instead, it is aimed at those whose drug use is "sufficiently consistent, 'prolonged,' and close in time to [their] gun possession to put [them] on notice that [they] qualified as an unlawful user of drugs under the statute." United States v. Edwards, 38 Fed. Appx. 134, 138 (4th Cir. 2002), cert. denied, --- U.S. ---, 123 S.Ct. 1764 (2003).

Just because you grow doesn't mean you are an unlawful drug user.
You could legally grow all day and never have picked up the pipe.

Find KrunchBubble's thread on getting busted in California. The DA wanted to hit him with weapons charges for having a baseball bat.

Find out if you can legally discharge a firearm on the property. If so, next time she drives by yelling, shoot a few 12ga. rounds in a safe direction. She should get the point even if she is psychotic.
Since the grow is legal, why not file a complaint with the local PD?

Say that you heard her swearing and yelling angrily in your direction. Thats enough for cops to come and talk to her, or at least give her a call. Safely fire off a few rounds next time she drives by screaming. This way you come off as a bigger psycho. Mixed messages should drive her away...

NO........do not involve firearms as you civiliians call them.....there is no place for weapons and marijuanna......TEHMASTER has said it best. You need to go to the Magistrate and get an order of protection or a warrant of tresspass. You can make it a place that is "at high risk" and the police will patrol it multiple times to maintain civil obedience.
That right now is your best course of action.....you are legl so stay within the laws protections....otherwise you are NOT LEGAL and have no protection under the law.
Dogs are not the answer they are a known liability as well. Me personally, I like to use my horses or mini donkeys.....Jerusalem Donkies are mean vicious protectors of other herd animals.....they protect against tresspassers and predators...wolves,MtLions, coyotes, foxes, people etc.........
If you come in my horses paddock, you very well might get stomped to death if he does not know you.....that is a fact.....he has stomped my neighbors dog flat as a pancake, snakes, chickens, and has chased my buddies under the fence when I snuck off and left them in there and he saw them alone......
Show me a precedent where someone was attacked by a mini dinkey or a horse.......as opposed to having some Presa Canario's, PitBulls, RottWeilers or some sort of guard dog .
I am just saying.....there are other options and at this time and day we need to keep things as legal as possible where it is permitted to be so.

I can vouch i have cut through a few rural pastures while hunting, and have once had myself staring down a donkey in the middle of the field. It is an activate deterrent LMFAO :woohoo:

Here's a simple situation to further prove that going to the Magistrate court is a good idea.
Let's say you or your buddy is walking down the road, and that bitch drives over you. And i mean like literally, tires over your body, splat!
Then she stops, calls 911 and says there's been an accident.
She gets away.
If instead you had of filed that in the Magistrate court, there would have been a record that this person is a harasser (Forgive the non-egal term) and that if anything of that sort happens she will be in big trouble, and the police will know it is not an accident, whatever the situation.
Another example would be "oh i just wondered onto their property , i didn't even know where i was "
Nope , with that order in the system, and you willing, she's going to jail tonight.
If the problem continues this will give you a legal edge.

geese are good alarm systems and can also be very protective. interesting info on the donkeys catchin:tiphat:
tha animals will also keep the rippers away!
focus on non lethal stuff. no booby traps, no firearms. trail cams and the courts will be your best defense...if she won't eat the cookies that is.

Donkeys! I once read a description of a mule trashing a mountain lion. The lion was going after this guy's dog and the mule clamped its teeth onto the base of the lion's tail, swung it around his head smacking the lion's skull onto the rocks. Then the mule proceeded to bite the lion's body up and down the spine. After this the mule kinda kicked back all relaxed like as if to say, "Well that's over, so we can go on with our hike now."

There were pics to go with the story.

Yes

Yes

Go talk to the lady.

Yes, like TG said, FIRST try to go talk peacably to the woman....maybe offer a little med as a peace offering. Tell her that you are not that person and that you are sick and have needs and have paid money ofr this opportunity and you will make it very clear to this person or persons that you will not tolerate any non sense and that there will be serious reprimands if you are not left alone or left peaceably alone. I think that would be best before you went to the courts......remember though......you went and got legal for a reason....so you will have reasonable protections under the law that you are entitled to being a legal grow so please do not do anything to jeopardize this or any other growers who are trying to maintain their legal status.
W1:tiphat:

I am SURE TG has run across more then his fair share of lunatics in his time:).

Meh, why explain yourself and expose yourself? Wouldn't you rather remain an "un-savory" character that is avoided than be a known med producer? Honestly, do as the donkeys - run and stomp. Also, if you want a good non-dog guard animal go for a llama, donkeys get fat fast if they are left out in the pasture. I've found coyotes with stomped heads in my llamas' vicinity. On the other hand he spits on people he doesn't know, lol. What can you do its a mountain camel.
