yo my good friend john!!!!!!!!!!! you're unkind with the poor man!!!!!!!!

I still like Armstrong more than Ian Ulrich or Richard Virenque,
I like him even more than Pantani R.I.P.!

all those who have won the tour in the last 20-30 years should be stripped of the titles!!!

I'll always rember him when he dedicated the stage win to Casartelli in 1995..........

And I say it AGAIN:

LEGALIZE DOPING!

My bitterness has everything to do with the arrogance. I believed the man could walk on water...hope you good my man, I waiting for it to get warm again to get on the road.

I've lost count. How many people who helped and trained with him did he throw under the train?
Think the USPS will ask for their sponsorship money back? Maybe they paid him in stamps.

I'll be watching Oprah (first time) I guess come Thursday night, I'm curious as to how deep he'll go into detail on how he got away w/it so consistently and for so long. I know I'll feel a certain amount of shame and/or embarrassment because I've been a very vocal supported/believer of his for so many years myself.

And yet on the other hand he tested clean, clean blood for so many years. he had super human strength and yet whatever formula he was using had to be kept 100% secret, a cocktail of PED's that might have benefited thousands in need; medical, therapeutic uses is what I'm alluding to.

I realize that it's not as if he's discovered these drugs himself but perhaps in the way he was using them might have been unique. Of course he also contracted a wicked case of testicular cancer that spread quickly through his body to his lungs & brain but admits to no doping (so far) previous to his cancer issues. Could the PED cocktail he used help others regain their health the same way?

If his cocktail/formula resulted in saving a single persons life or restoring quality to many then it might be considered to be worth it.......

My buddy is all about cycyling and was a big Lance Armstrong supporter too. He read a book published about how to got away with it for so long. It was based off the FED's records and his teammates accounts. The jist of it is that almost all the cyclist dope, but did so on an individual level and kept to themselves about it. If you rode with the USPS team Lance controlled all the doping procedures. He monitored how much, when, and controlled the whole doping program. He employed the people to run the program and had a very scientific approach to it.

On the tour de france they had someone call Motto Man who used one burn phone per day and would ride around and swap everyone's blood out over the course of the race to keep oxygen levels high.

If you didn't follow his program to the T or fucked around you were off the team. He was the Don of Doping for the American team and ran it like a gangster.

Given how arrogant he is/was about his achievements and everything else I have to say he's a real POS.

Lance was doping? Shocking. Hopefully he won't be able to worm his way into tri competitions.

Come out and play Sundance!

Just watched the Lance Armstrong interview on Discovery Channel...

He admits doping for his whole career. Interesting interview. It seems like he simply fell through the cracks until now.

I am here asshole - btw that K+ rep was from me - it was accidental ... sure I will play

I dont judge anyone - certainly not voice opinions about someones guilt and destroy lives - before knowing the absolute truth

I have raced against Lance back in 1982 - Desert Princes Run-Bike-Run ... great fun ... some of the biggest names in Triathlon where there ... and Lance a sensation at all of 15 or 16 years old was slated to attend ... there was good press for this prior to the race, and a helicopter following as the race progressed

Back in that day - none of this shit existed. Everyone was clean - Sure I smoked a joint .. but so what ... we were all in it for the joy of pure sport, because we loved knocking ourselves into amazing shape

We all trained like crazy .. 5 or 6 days a week ... long hard miles ... at all crazy hours - ate right ... and cut our bodies up

One of the top tri-atheles was a guy named Dave Scott out of UC Davis - and that area .. an awesome and very beautiful athlete - fantastic watching this guy go ... Dave was so into the sport, improving his training and himself - he is famous for straining the fat out of his cottage cheese

Lance probably won that race - beating guys much older, stronger and experienced - and he won thru pure talent

The world of sport was wowed by a 16 year old kid

Looking back - and considering everything that has happened to him - its beyond sad that he lost his way ... and that he fucked up soooooo badly

Facts - Lance grew up in Texas, probably poor as heck, in a single parent home with his Mom ... his Mom is a lovely lady who did her best ... I do not think he has brothers or sisters

Lance - because of his amazing natural talent - was being pulled into sport by all kinds of people on all sides ... this was happening to him at age 16 ... he was a fucking kid

The great cycling coach - I am not sure out of which country he came - maybe East Germany (I dont know) a guy named Eddie B ... Eddie Boyerwitz or something like that - soon after the race I mentioned above - ended up with the prize - took Lance out of Tri-athlon (no money in it) and brought Lance into cycling

The sad part in this, is that - no one stopped to think - and take to heart ... what is in the best interest for this kid - no one stopped to teach Lance the most important lessons in life - things like

Never lie about anything ... that the truth always comes out

Never steal

How to be a real man ... and so on

I waited to say anything - because this crap is such a waste of my time ... I want to hear the full story before commenting ... and I busy as heck on both sides of the clock working on a good sized business deal - I dont have the time or patience for this shit ... or even a desire to play with you ass-artes - waste of time ... very little point

I saw the last half hour of oprah, and a few minutes of the start of re-play - I turned it off because I heard enough, it is a double train wreck - hate oprah and wont support her

Prior to this - I knew nothing about Lance, other than what we all saw on TV and in the news, and from my past personal experience, all of which I mentioned above

I know nothing about performing enhancing drugs - absolutely zero - couldn't comment except to say the obvious - someone like Lance should have known better - he would have been incredibly stupid to even consider using something like this - more stupid for doing so - he would be risking everything - including his character and good standing in sport, with everyone, including and especially his family, and the world

Why he did not think that way - or someone didnt slap this shit into him - is beyond stupid

Johan Bruynel, George Hincapie - guilty ... stupid as hell ... and horrible friends ... they too can hang their heads in disgrace for all days ... maybe more so - until they both speak out ... apologize ... and tell the absolute truth

Very difficult to live with a lie - any lie ... and very stupid to embellish anything

People do some amazingly stupid shit

In the end - if you do something wrong ... you will have to answer to yourself ... society ... and eventually to God

It is an incredibly heavy burden to carry ... and one not worth trying ... admit your mistakes ... find God ... correct your ways ... and move on ... a better person for it ... that is learning ... growing up ... and life

Exactly what is happening to Lance today

We all make mistakes

Its beyond sad ... he had it all ... he was and still is a naturally, god given athlete with amazing talent ... he was on the mountain top ... loved ... and respected by those who didnt know - and threw it all away ... and more - Lance will have to live with this for the rest of his life ... he hurt his Mom, and his family deeply ... and he really fucked up BIG ... is a fuck up

Tell me ass-artes ... in the end did one of your highly prized scientific tests bring him down ? ... did anything scientific bring him down - no ... not at all ... everything you claimed to know was nothing more than a gut feeling ... you, in the end .. like me .. did not know shit

The difference is - you are a child and have a big mouth

Lance brought Lance down - he spoke up and told the truth ... and the truth is not fully or accurately represented by anything you ever said ass-artes, or by anything travis tygart of the usada said either

The truth is not fully, or even accurately represented by what is in taggarts complaint against Lance - its exaggerated ... just like the comments you made without knowing the truth - all in an attempt to bring somebody else down

Additionally, the story of the lawyer who is one of three people who prepared the USADA complaint against Lance - the professor who took his students hand and put it on his cock ... and later whipped the little bugger out and asked favors of the girl - his student ... how about we ban him too ?

Your boasting and attitude all throughout this - shows your lack of good character, and unless you personally make some changes in yourself - you will always be an asshole

BTW - what is it to you if Lance competes in tri-athlons ?

Crawl back into your scientific A-hole

I don't have any hatered for Lance, or much sympathy really.

It's just an unbelievable piece of history how so many people knew what was happening and that the rest of the world believed that nothing like this could be happening.... amazing.

I believed that Lance was clean, i thought 'How could he be possibly sooooooo full of shit, and living a complete lie?? He simply couldn't.'
(Especially because sooo many people would have to know his secret.)

But he was.

At the level lance competed at, not using drugs would be like a miss america contestant showing up in a homemade dress with no makeup.

Yes that's probably right, unless of course, no-one was using drugs?? :)

I come from a competitive bodybuilding background, so I know a thing or two about PEDS, what we finally did with our sport, instead of pretending that there wasn't massive drug use, was to split it into two different branchs, tested(7 year minimum drugfree) and non tested shows, so if you wanted to drug your ass off, you could, but if you didn't, then there was another outlet for you to compete in, and it wasn't just the tests and polygraphs that kept it clean, it was the other contestants holding each other accountable.

Sundance

So much typing and so little substance as usual.

1) "I know nothing about performance enhancing drugs." -Sundance That was obvious from the get go.

2) What bearing does one of the USADA's lawyers' proclivities have on Lance's guilt at all? Keep shifting the blame rather than putting it where it's due.

3) Lance and tri competitions. The only reason for the 'confession' is to get into 2013 tri competitions. He admitted doping from 2005 and is hoping that the possible reduced sentence would be eight years for admitting involvement. Said reduction is very unlikely due to his unwillingness to admit he headed a doping program that pressured other cyclists into doping as well. This wasn't a come to jesus moment. It's a PR blitz.

4) I was quite clear that drug testing is reactionary by nature. I bothered to actually educate myself about the subject, so my opinion wasn't a gut feeling. A gut feeling is looking up at a blue sky saying I think it's going to rain later. An educated opinion is looking up at a green sky, hearing tornado sirens and thinking it may just rain today. There's a difference.

5) I am pleased to see a person removed from the sport that was such a disgrace and drain on what remained of its' integrity.
Perhaps it was the way he systematically alienated, threatened, sued and ruined the careers of countless competitors, associates and team trainers that were merely speaking the truth. All while building himself up to be media darling and a champion of adversity. Of maybe it's because he did all the above while looking the American public in the eye countless times and saying he didn't dope.

As for the rest, nothing new that wasn't in your first 20 pm's.

Keep sounding childish. It suits you.
