i had it figured right from the start to be done around the end of aug but as i said the person that was helping me and where the clones came from was telling me they are done but he also said how much nicer my plants are compared to his and this is my first grow so i guess iam getting there. thanks for all the input everyone.

Great looking first grow man! I would agree with the others here who have said they need more time. You might want to pick a couple of buds now so you can show your friend and see for yourself the difference in the taste, smell and effect from buds harvested now versus letting them finish. I have attached a trichome pic for judging when to harvest.
