Dutch Flowers was a legendary seed producer responsible for Apollo Trip, Lemon Thai, Chocolate Thai, Blowfish, Metal Haze and others, usually produced in very limited seed pack numbers resulting in prices for seed packs being sold for thousands of dollars. Subsequent seed sellers of Dutch Flowers F2s have made careers based on it.

Also, some past seed makers like Three Little Birds and Jojorizo, who both bought a pack of Blowfish from Dutch Flowers (for big $$) and made reasonably priced F2s available (I bought and grew 3lb's offering of seeds made from the "berry" pheno of Blowfish - which was one of several outstanding phenos they found in their F1 pack and offered as F2 seeds). I know most here only have my word on how outstanding Blowfish was, but dammit - it was great - and only something like 11 packs of seeds were produced and offered by Dutch Flowers!

There may have been a pheno from the original seeds that had terps like that, but I haven't heard of it. The F2 packs offered by 3lb were named according to their terps. I remember these: frankincense, jasmine, berry - sucks, but I'm only remembering maybe half of the ones they offered. Also, I believe all of them had the quality of the terps having the same taste as the smell.

Yeah - I was a bit high on the price range - Blowfish may have been the one where one of the CW auctioned packs went for $900 or so.

Roses - thanks! I think they may have called that pheno group "floral".

That's Frankincense, Jasmine, Floral, Berry and one or two more I'm not remembering.

I know the whole Blowfish discussion is off-topic to this thread, but multiple people seemed interested in that one, so I'll just share the exciting news here - I've started a new thread to document these recently popped seeds (and one or two more that haven't risen above the medium yet).

These were generously sent to me about a week ago by a long-time well-respected person many here may know - thank you so much!

We don't yet know which pheno from the original pack these F2s were worked from - but, unlike the pack I bought and grew years ago - my source got these directly from 3LB and had been a careful and faithful caretaker of these seeds, which were approximately 20 years old.

I'd describe myself as a bit of a preservist and I am very nostalgic for lines from the early-2000s type era.

I used to have some Joey Weeds Apollo 11 beans (F2 of original Bros Grimm stock).
I quite liked it. Like C99 but a bit less speedy.

I lost those beans in a move and Joey Weeds doesn't stock the Apollo 11 anymore!

So I'm on the hunt for a Apollo 11 seed line/preservation.

I'm also interested in other Genius Hybrids as well!

Any leads? Preferably pure A11 and not hybridized.

I should mention I'm not interested in any of the recently Bros Grimm relaunch stuff. I take provenance seriously and Soul has said some conflicting things in regards to how the new releases were made so I just want to go with the old stuff instead!

I see Bodhi did some work with an Apollo 11 Genius pheno but that was some time ago.

And also Rez used to have his Apollo line. And also the Apollo Mist! Damn what I would do for that. Two of my faves in one!

It's funny to me how amazing the whole C99, Genius and Apollo 11 genepool are but it seems they are at the risk of going extinct! I suppose they are a bit of a niche as they aren't the typical dank high THC weed but for my brain chemistry they are the absolute best daytime smoke I can have. Other sativa hybrids mostly feel quite heavy to me actually (SSH, Mango Haze, etc all have some body to the high which makes me feel tired)

Bro, I have a bag of Apollo 11 seeds in the freezer, they spent quite a few years in a drawer beforehand so not sure of their viability but you're welcome to them of you pay for the postage. Should be in excess of 50 seeds from memory. I think they're joey weed

Lime zest aged parm and feet. I call it daderall. I could consider it an 80/20 or 85/15 sat leaner... daddy's little helper.

Clear from the pic it is heavy leaning towards the new99.

Nothing like an Apollo 11 sadly but expected.

I feel fooled again for actually buying 2 A11xx seeds. Thats on top of 2 full packs and an entire grow devoted to the new99 when he released it. I will take my agressions out on the final one with a BFH for payback from being lied to not once but at least three times now. I finally threw out hundreds of seed that was contaminated with new99 genetics. It was good bird seed.

Seeds are circa 15 ish. Definitely not like the Cindy I had from heavens stairway 00 ish. Mr. Soul sent me his new pineapple Cindy and some genius s1s. The genius pheno I selected is very similar to this one.

Did you run them? Open pollenated or did you use selected parental plants? Interested in possible preservation.

I ran a few packs way back in the day, I used to always select the best plants, both male and female and dust them using an artist brush. So should be still some variety in the genes.

Apollo 13 had the Gorilla Arm but that grower was going other strains at the same time and maybe a cross.
I have grown a lot of Apollo 13 with out any Gorilla Arms. and he got his seeds from me.
