If person is indeed crazy and unstable, they may try to inflict any type of pain/influence on anyone!

Nothing like the police knocking on your door because a neighbor is pissed off crazy person.
Its happened once, more likely it can happen again.

Worst case scenario, she smells it and calls the cops, they actually come, again, all they would do is knock on your door, and you would already be gone to school, and if not, don't answer.

How many times do you think the police will come for a report of MJ smoke smell from the same girl?

InTheRed, if you're 23, and been with the same girlfriend for five years, and she barely tolerates your weed habit, which she does not enjoy herself, how are you gonna handle that situation ??

the neighbor problem seems very temporary in comparison, and possibly the tension within your own home caused you to become impatient with the neighbor ??

when cops are being called, and attorneys retained over some vacuum cleaner noise...seems like a real pressure cooker over there...

Well nothing like letting the inexperience in handling social conflicts in a health manner spiral out of control.

Hmmm .... Talk to someone face to face in a calm respectful manner to resolve a simple social conflict OR spend tons of money on a lawyer and moving, in hopes that this doesn't just repeat itself all over again in the new location with someone else.


hmmm ... maybe I'll spend all this money so I can blame everyone else for the problems I create. Why learn to deal with human interactions when I can just run away and start over?

Don't feel bad for me. The attorney is free of charge because he is within the family. I've learned one thing for sure: Get a townhouse now.. and in the meantime start saving for a real house.

Money CANNOT buy happiness, but it can buy the satisfaction of a reasonable distance from neighbors and society in general when one chooses not to engage. Our journey is just that: each our own.
