It dawned on me a while ago that I'd rather be at the beach than home. I could go for it right about now, a swim would be great.

Then again, this here cat has a great idea, too.

(btw, I didn't take these photos, found them online)

Where would you like to be right now? If you've got a picture of where you'd rather be, share it.

I would love to be in Colorado Bend State Park, beautiful water and water falls.

Or Guadalupe Mountains State Park, lovely area.

I just hate the city, it is so crappy.

Or my family's cabin in the Black Hills of South Dakota, sorry no picks. Have not been in a coon's age, and it makes me sad. Need to get back there real quick.

I did take these pics, with my own little camera. Well, my brothers, but that is beside the point!

Gorgeous shots, Tark.
And i have to agree there, there's nothing more stressing than the concrete jungle...I dunno about everyone else, but it brings me no bliss.

No bliss to be had in the hell of a city. I can not wait to go camping again, out in the wild. I hate the sound of traffic, the sight of development and expansion. Man, I just plain hate everything about the city.

Yeah, I actually let out an audible "Whoooaaaaaa" on that one. Man, I have got to get off of this continent.

I wouldn't mind being here. Small town near Toledo Bend, in Texas. Well, between Texas and Louisiana really, but you get my drift. Nice lake, nice surroundings. Plus, it is a funny sign, and good town name.

the beach is where it's at for me. Today is the first day since Friday that I haven't been smoking bowls on the beach. I Love living on coast, I'm 18 now and don't plan on ever leaving, I don't think i could stand to be land locked.
It's spring break so I'm taking full advantage, ripped every day.

Chinese sacred mountains are magical places, for sure, where the clouds teach impermanence

if you like these, you will also love Taiwan

I have to be honest, if I could get the hell out of the country & take a vacation right now, this is where I'd disappear to:

It's one of the Motu islands around Huahine in the Society Islands (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc)

Just look at that freakin' water.....I'd never get out of it....

This is what I did on my last vacation. I meant to go to Sturgis South Dakota, I ended up in Sheeptown, North Dakota. Oh well, I made the best out of a baaaaaaaad situation.

More views from Taiwan and China :)

mountains South China style

wow China

more from Taiwan

Taiwan again - helicopter shot (blue line on the left is a river)

central Taiwanese mountains

Hualien, East Taiwan - notice the road tunnel

wow lakes again

wish I could find some pics of the classic jagged volcanic ridges in cloud, which to me is the quintessential Taiwanese view ... used to have a place in the valleys in West Central Taiwan ... Taichung County and Nantou County ... so beautiful...

yeh - big thanks to whoever the folks are who took those

some of the best times I've had were riding round the Taiwanese mountains on a 125cc Kwanyang piece-of-shit scooter with a stretched drivebelt and tyres you could see your reflection in... transportation Asian style ... nothing like that to remind of your mortality and just how crazy it all is/you are etc etc.

did me proud though did that Kwanyang - went up to a good 3000 metres plus and it only slid on me once ... hit some mud ... wowowowowow ... still here

yes I know - really fucking stupid....
