Leaning Tower of Cookies on the Left.

I think she started growing at 30% cuz that's where the sun was, in the sky.

Photo-tropism and all that.

Romberry on the Right.

I don't hear people talking about Romberry which means you perhaps haven't had a good Romberry.

This is Freedom of Seeds Romberry.

It is like a Fruit Candied version of Romulan. Romulan has its own Skunk odor and the one time I grew it, it was very popular. (Romulan)

Romberry - Super sweet, crystally, makes you temporarily forget about all the other bags of bud in your Meds area.

Which actually, Federation Romulan in 2004, has a similar effect.

What would you pick if you had quality Romberry, and Romulan, to pick from ?

You could starve to death staring at the bags, unable to make up your mind.

Mama Bear Papa Bear and Little Bear.

Little Bear is 6 Chem seedlings I planted ... Cause I realized ... I had no Chem plants ! ! !

This is 3 of them.

Might get 1 gram per plant. :)

That's six or 7 nice joints for me. Awesome!

Actually it's a great test of how much Sativa is in a plant.

It's still early September, and I got lights if it runs into November.

But the Chem is pretty Indica.

I thought they'd be stretching more but I guess not.

She's got a bunch of seeds from a mix of 6 small males, and one big Apollo 11.

So some of those should go Sativa - but apparently not these seeds. They are growing like their Mom - they need to be Big when flowering starts or they won't get very big.

So I have a reason to start some more Chem cross seeds !

Besides in winter I use grow lights for heat. The house has electric heat, the heat might as well be a light.

I saw you mention using lights during the fall in my thread about plants taking a while to flip into flowering.

In what sort of manner do you use lights during late flowering?

I'm familiar with adding supplemental light to plants during early spring to keep them in a veg, but I am not familiar with adding light during the end of flowering.

Are you way up north where the length of day is super short and intensity of the light is dim by November?

Those Chem seedlings are in 3 gallon pots. At 42-43 Latitude.

Where they are now, a wood deck with a fence, they begin losing sun about the middle of October. Mostly because of a ridge to the South, which starts blocking the sun when it gets lower in the sky.

I could move them indoors.

If I set it up outdoors, I have to protect the lights from the rain.

I understand now.

You're saying you can bring the plants indoors under lights if needed, and with the ridge a lot of the sun starts to quickly get cut off into Oct.

You're just a bit farther north than I am, but I am in a valley and the way my yard is my plants get direct sunlight through out most of the day. But as the sun sinks lower there are some trees that will cut off a lot of the direct sunlight toward the end of the day.

The Mac1 I have going are just now starting to flower as of today, and a few other of my plants are really just starting to get going as of the past day or two. Any one else have some "late bloomers"?

The macs are going to take into November for sure...I have one is in the ground and another is in a large pot, depending how the season goes (pretty warm/dry the past few years) I may cover them with tarps if it rains and maybe have a fan or two going on cool/damp nights to keep moisture/humidity from building up. I had a plant go to Nov 10th last year and it didn't have any problems. It was a relatively warm & dry fall though. I don't think it rained at all before I harvested my plants but some late night/early mornings were damp/dewy.

I haven't really kept up with this thread much this year but my plants are coming along and looking pretty good, appears that most of y'all have a good harvest on the way as well. I still have a ways to go with most of my plants but I'm looking better right now that I was this time last year....Right now I have two Mac1,two Sherblato, an Ice Cream Cake, a Kush Cake, a Wedding Cake, a seed grown [Granimals X ?], a seed grown [Vanilla Frosting X ?], a seed grown [Lemon Wookie Glue X ?], as well as some autos (Skywalker OG, Mango Smile, Strawberry Mango Crumble).

I grew some autos for my first time earlier this spring/summer and I was really impressed with them. I will definitely be growing autos along side my regular photo-period plants every time I grow outdoors now. It's crazy how fast they develop and finish, and the quality is actually impressive. They're kinda "fun" in ways because of how fast they develop and finish so one can cycle through a lot of different strains and different breeders in a short time...and I am all about having a diverse selection on hand (Though what I have going right now doesn't reflect that with all those cakes/dessert strains lol, that's all I could get my hands on this year with short notice).

I had some signs of mites on a couple plants appear over the past 3 to 4 weeks that I've treated with essential oils/soap/sesame oil/alcohol. It has done the trick. I had an infestation of mites around this time last year, right around the first couple weeks of flowering (Hemp/russet mites). This year I've been a bit more on top of it (but not as much as I should have been), all of my plants are looking free of them as of today and all the buds are developing as they should. Mites are pretty much my only concern as I get deeper into flowering.

It is also more sunny this time around so my plants are getting nice unfiltered full spectrum sunlight, that can change any day though...Last year the smoke in my area was like a thick fog through the first 1/2 of September, could barely see to the end of the block on some days and the plants had ash on them some mornings.

Good luck y'all in bringing your ladies to a proper finish.

It depends a lot on the situation.

Back in May my neighbor saw 2 "Skeezy Looking Guys" walk up my very hidden driveway & check out all the crap (literally) in my driveway.

I had to keep the chickens in the garage temporarily, and after that I moved a bunch of stuff into the driveway ... covered with chicken poop.

Don't know if the Skeezy Guys saw anything they liked.

BUT there were 4 plants on the deck.

If I had more energy, I would build an enclosure for the plants on the deck, to discourage grow-rips.

Then it would be easy to hang some lights.

these 3 ultra early love potions at the auto spot i harvested yesterday are really leafy for this strain, they are from the uel seed patch from last year, the mom seed plant was the most mold proof, but was leafy too.

I am growing an F6 of it this season! Which generation you grow?
