Round one are sexed @44 days. At least the container plants are.

Avg. 2 feet, with 10 nodes.

On left is Scotian Gold, others are Hasha.
The one in the middle is a male with branches right from node one, I cut them off today, if they root I'll kill the parent, if not I'll have to move it.

The one on the right in back has really large calyxs, preflowers. Hopefully BIG seed, I like big seed, I took the two bottom branches off that as well. If they root I won't have to pollinate the mother at all.

There is one more there, just out of the picture, it's a little shorter, quite bushy. Frankly they seem a little nicer in person, than they look in the picture.

I'm tying to clone the branches, outdoors in soil. Used clear solos, packed in dirt in a larger pot. I can just lift the cups to have a peek. We'll see how that "experiment" goes.

Pic was taken before sunrise today, and is actually the 45th day to be completely honest.

My plants have been out in the swamp for over a week. A few days ago I dropped by to check on the Nl and plant one Orange lights. 2 Nl were dead on inspection and 2 more looked to be on their way out. That pure peat and perlite with fertilizer really fucked them up, won't pull that stunt ever again. The others (though behind) seem to be doing ok and are adjusting to their new environment.

The food tent idea was a total success as they had slugs crawling on the outside, but nothing got in. I removed those to get them more light and bombed the area with Iron Phosphate (slug baits.) I really like it because it is safe around plants and animals, doesn't wash away, OMRI listed as organic, and flat out works. The unsuspecting gastropods stuff themselves full, then just crawl off and croak. It has always solved the problem for me.

If this rain ever stops I'll stop out to replace the fallen Northern lights with Orange lights plants. I'm also going to try and possibly get 1 or 2 other sites going with another strain. Late grows are always easier to manage out in the sticks than larger early ones are for me. Stay safe everyone, 2020's a wild year.

No it doesn't. It sprays roundup once. I started seeing fields being sprayed last week. This week, the greenery between the rows is yellow :) So mine are going in.

A farmer may spray Gibberellic Acid on silage crop a couple weeks after he sprayed roundup. The GA doesn't increase the amount of corn, but it significantly increases tonnage because the plant and distance between nodes is increased. Like most plants, Corn produces GA on it's own, but only once the weather warms up. Spraying GA gives the Corn a head start.

If you have weed in there when he sprays GA, expect really tall plants with huge distance between the nodes. You won't get more buds, but you will get more airflow.
