I'd like to blame lockdown and the increased countryside walkers with the beach being out of use.. But in all honesty should have gone further into the scrub. As soon as I get the chance I'm gonna create a perfect site completely hidden from view.

It's still really early to get some out. Even from seed. I put some out as late as july.

I'm gonna stick some seeds in pots.. And see what I can achieve at a new site in three weeks... Better get soaking now.

Means I got to get up early and "go for a run" with a rucsac full of tools and old clothes.

Edit: seeds are in: rgsc Patriot Medicine, Early Grape Berry & Super#61 plus an another purple maroc just incase I have really bad luck and get all boys.

One of the big reasons I start late. Got to wait for that cover to come up to help blend them in. I've been lucky I haven't been ripped yet (knocks on wood.) No one likes a thief, not even other thieves.

Got my 3 little ones in a well prepared raised bed yesterday-

then I went to check them this morning and I could only see one
Some little bastard animal has got under the chicken wire I put over the top and been digging
Luckily they were only buried and undamaged so I’ve re set them- think I might cut a small hole in the wire and lower it to soil level.

i would put my indoor seedlings out doors BUT

there are bugs or something that likes to eat the tops off seedlings.

will wait a few more nodes and then.

I’ve lowered the chicken wire to soil level, reinforced the Raised bed with some concrete blocks plus some small rocks on top of the wire.
I’ve also been all around The edges with cayenne pepper , as I’m told it’s a squirrel deterrent... pretty sure it’s them.
I planted the two tiny seedlings out while I was at it, save moving the wire again.

Little pricks. If it's mice, that's not a deterent. I lost 50 GG4 a couple years ago. They just chopped them down like trees and left the plants die laying on the ground. I use 1/4 inch hardware cloth (12" high) in that spot. For some reason, mice won't climb into the cage. It's too close to HQ for me to abandon. lol

You know, a little flybait mixed with sugar water (I use coke or pepsi) will have them drinking and dying within feet of the bowl.

Nice starts. What are they Man?
Hi Tycho,
In order
PurpleBud - feminised (green gene) female mix pack (all 5 was included into a sensi seeds feminised outdoor mixpack)
Purple bud - feminised (Red gene)

Purple - fem green gene - fem Red gene - fem green gene - fem green gene

Lets see later i we can recognize the strain of the sensi fives

Strange thing was, I put down lots of slug pellets originally and they were all gone when I was replacing the wire... if they’ve eaten those they’re probably dead right now.
Went and had a brief glance at the patch and it’s undisturbed today :woohoo:

Clones going out may start to flower but still early enough to revert and get about a month of good veg time?

Uff, i'm in full doubt, i dont know if Is Better to top now or wait atleast to see the 5/6th internode...

My Major fear Is the Wind, the Plants are more strong with a low main cole (3 internode and top) or more higher... ??

Personally, I top when I see it's strong enough to take it. So 3-4 nodes. But whenever I top my gorilla plants, they split right down the middle so I let them go and hope for a christmas tree shape (doesn't always happen). But if they're in my yard, I pinch until my fingers bleed and use a cage.

Having said that, I have one strains that takes to topping very well. Never splits, stays short, very wide, and you'd need to run over it with a truck to hurt it.

So I guess... research your strains. Look at google images for outdoor plants and check out the structure and branches.
