I had to cut the glueberry og down, lost over half to budrot and the resin barely has any amber, I'm disappointed and won't grow this again. Lost all the tops.

The Special kush also came down, she was ready and lost about 20% to bud rot. I'm cutting another special kush down tomorrow also dealing with budrot issues.

The Durban poison will come down Sunday, resin is about 10% amber. Can't find any mold in her but I can't get a good look at the top colas.

PDX, are all the seeds from that plant purple?

I'm not sure which plant that seed came off, it was in the salvaged material pile.
These two year old seeds that still have some color on them might be siblings of the parents of the other purple seed plant, but the color might just be an effect of having rainy weather on seeded purple flowers rather than anything genetic being involved.

A Droopy Plant, and the reason I harvested 5 of the main buds - a wisp of mold.

I wanted to get a 1/4 pound off it in case I had a grow rip. At least I'd get some decent meds from the effort.

Giving the plant THE MAXimum L O V E you can pack into a bucket of compost tea.

Though I wonder if that's just to make me feel good ?

I took the cotton terry cloth bird cage liner, saturated in High Quality Silkie turds, basically 2 terry cloth towels, and put it in a 5 gallon bucket, and poured 2 gallons of boiling water over it.

Got the towels miraculously cleaner and created some Really Smelly water.

So that creates some NPK juice.

I ran out of 0-11-0 seabird guano.

Going to give the plants each another layer of bone meal mixed into soil. So that cranks up the P.

Then I mix some more organic nitrogen (urea) and Potassium (wood ash), so I have 2 sources of N & K in the tea, and 1 source of P, and that sort of dovetails with the extra P source in the new layer of dirt, the bone meal.

I figure as long as I dilute it enough it's OK ?

Anyway the underbuds are looking good. I want to give them another week and be as patient as the mold will allow.

Do you think compost tea helps in late flowering as long as it's not mixed too strong ?

Each of the plants has a colony of redworms. I hope they are enjoying the meal I created. :woohoo:

I think your far enough along you can give them just water but compost tea won't hurt anything. Bonemeal lasts a while in the soil so they will still get P.

I used to have a DoF box, "Dropped on Floor".

Are those buds you just don't feel like spending time on ?

It's easier to give extra pot to the homeless people when you live in the city.

Those are the ones that survived a near miss with bud rot, they all end up going together to make the house brand hash.

Speaking of hash ... there was an article this morning about some Hashish smugglers off the coast of Spain.

The police were chasing them, and 3 of the police got knocked into the water.

The smugglers rescued them.

And still got busted !!!

No gratitude.

Lost all my tops on the glueberry and special kush but my Durban Poison is still 100% mold free. I plan to harvest October 10th. I hope to find other resistant sativas and will try purple satellite if I can get my hands on it next year.

Couple Honduran sitting in the forest.
Survived a hard frost and next two weeks are supposed to be in the mid to high teens so I'll wait a bit before I bring them home.

Took a couple cuttings.
