The devil is trying his best, but his best is never enough! Went out yesterday around dusk when it started to cool off. Pulled another 10-15 males, worked the soil with a hand trowel shovel, and top dressed with a bag of Garden Tone! The plants are up to head height now!

The devil is coming against me though, I had the camera on me while carrying water and I must have bumped it in the case, the lens is messed up. Going to see if I can get it to work or I will have to just buy a new one. Probably due for an update anyway!

Got the water hauled to the plot after dark, and I forgot to bring a watering can. So I'll be watering them in after a little bit and double checking the plants for sex. Most are showing and the females are lining the front and east sides with best light! There are also females scattered throughout the plot, so canopy will close back in over the next couple weeks now that the males are gone! Got the plants sexed at July 20! Thats pretty early! Praise God! :smoke:

Thanks for the garden tour Yahooman! Looks like they're going to yield well! Good assortment of lines there! Be sure and get some pics of the differences when they're flowering! Thanks for sharing!

Hey Think Green! Thats a nice indica bush! Short internode spacing on that one and branchy! Did you top or train it?

the one thing i hate about testing new straina is you never can tell how much you will lose to mold...so im a bit worried.i have had strains that completely rotted and couldnt eeven salvage a nug, however, that is fairly rare...on average id say i lose 10-15% to mold, which i can handle

Have to do those inspections and cut out mold regardless of strain. I know what you mean though, even within my seedline there is variation. Usually the plants can handle the rains if its not 2 or 3 days in a row of wet conditions. The healthier the plants are the less prone they are to mold. More flower density means higher chance of mold. Prune the plants to have an open structure and get good airflow. Harvest the flowers that are molding and let the rest continue to ripen.

Maybe start a little breeding project and make your own seedline, that way you know what to expect every year!

You have to have a keen eye. Inspections take a lot of time, but they save ya. Is it good to smoke that green cure potassium carbonate? Doesn't it effect the flavor?

i dont notice any difference
im pretty good at telling if a strain is prone to rot....after growing hundreds of strains outdoors you get an eye for it

Yea I've still throwing out the different strains this yr also, I've grew a lot of smaller 4-6oz plants mainly from realgorillaseeds that was pretty good. And 4 KC Brains Cristal Limit I had last yr were a great old school buzz, But those 4 Cristal Limit I'd started early and got a lot outta those 4. Heck I got 6 different strains from Seedsman and Sweet Seeds I'm trying to find a bucket for...4-5 and it's done planting I swear lol. I've got a Dos-di-Do from Sweat and I think the Black Jack is from sweet. Plus from Seedsman I've got Peyote Wifi, Peyote Gorilla, Gelato OG, and BB3 I'm gonna put in soil and 5 gal buckets and see if I can do any good. I'll be able to watch them so I might be able to get a decent one. I've been wanting to try this Gelato OG!!!! I love Seedsman I took my mother BB and I'm flowering her out. It was a good pheno but there's a lot better sativa one, this BB from Seedsman is just a tasty herb I like. It's not a 10 or nothing, maybe 7 or so.

I was gonna ask somebody that's, I've got several plants that's had to have started budding to early. I don't know if it's were they got so dry, and stressed from me?? I did a poor job early on, I wonder if I should just pull them?? A few of the better ones look like they started. And I'm not sure what's up with this early but everything seems to start flowering up in the mtn in this area earlier than it did lower down. I've got 2 that's kinda budding but I'm afraid they'll hermi on me.

I got me a new 6gal jug at WM, damn needed this years, ago. Just the time saved mixing nutes lol is crazy. It's easier getting to my guerilla plot with the jug. I have the worst luck, I'm at the guerilla plot looking at everything and take a step back and step on the dog. Ok I fell straight back into a brush pile, when I stopped flopping my feet was up in the air lol. Oh it's rough, I finally got twisted outta there. Thank God I didn't go clear off the cliff, I think dog is ok but I couldn't help stepping on her, I'll probably be able to get a pic, thank God it's so thick were I fell and helped caught me

the jagerschnitzel is a excellent outdoor plant and i hear purple punch does great outdoors as well, thats why 4 of the plants right behind the house are jager x pp
the kushty is supposed to have great resistance too.ive grown the fire99 and it also has excellent resistance.so im ahead of the game cause i put a lot of thought into it...its a major advantage in the long run.

i wonder how forum cookies and dosidos perform outdoors
