It's about time to cut the growing tip, to promote branching.

I find that the side branches work better for clones, so I will probably just feed the trimmed plant tips to the animals. See what the cat does with it.
As a general rule of thumb, I'd agree clones tend to be bushy, but some plants from seed can be bushy. This year all of mine had branches starting right at node 1. I removed some of those bottom branches for the the first round of clones.
Anyway this plant in the middle has an average internode spacing of under 3 inches, (the other 2 are 4 inches or less) it's almost too bushy, and I removed a quite a bit of the inner, and lower growth yesterday, source of more clones. I'd like to keep one or two of these over winter.

Yooo El mani. Looking like monsters in the making. Every time I see you post some nice plants I have this song in my head.. El mani theme tune

...Well, you should know that since decades ago he already has a sound theme dedicated and proposed as the official anthem...

All those who can stand up, and let's listen with due respect (dancing is allowed)...Que viene el maní...

Well, it is supposed to be good. I'll be looking forward to your first hand opinion.
I'm also doing something new this year, Green Crack.
What fun.

I decided about 10yrs back that after years of growing similar strains, from then on every plant I grow will be something new to me. As with anything there are some winners and some loser's, but variety is the spice of life 👍

...And in the meantime, here, even the ants have to go out with a canteen...

-"Come on, Marías, the degrees-changer has already returned to your town!! Your change-degrees of confidence, the same as every year...: change 5°C, for a cubic meter of water... And don't miss the special offer, parishioners, cos' this year I'm giving it away: for 2 cubic meters, 15°C..."-

(44°C / 112.5°F maximum in the shade, forecast again for the next few days)

Unfortunately, and now without jokes, the news reports warn that the previous Saharan heat wave during Spring has destroyed a large part of the crops in the south of the Mediterranean countries, which, together with the effects of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, threatens famine to all the countries of the Sahel, from the Atlantic to the Horn of East Africa, from Mauritania to Sudan.

My eleven plants out in the bush 1 month after transplanting little seedlings. 7 strains total- Looking like almost all females left, hope all are and start to kick ass soon. Just cleared the weeds and surrounding vegetation that was competing with the plants- hoping to stay on it throughout the season and keep the ground/ edges cut low. Surrounding weeds are person height leading to this plot at times.

There is something very soothing about photographs of forest scenes out in the boonies, especially when they include plots of thriving weed plants. Verdant vistas just draw me in and trigger my exploration instincts. Those plants are off to a good start, and with this summer sun will soon become monsters.
