Anyone own the Floralux 150W HPS?

HTGsupply.com sells them. They are only 100 bucks and come with a built in ballast. My grow space wont be that big. Just a simple cabinet so i dont need anything big or extravagant. Here are my plans.

I used to use one in a cab. It was fine, but if your ventilation isn't dialed in, the enclosed ballast may overheat the cab.

Your next, easiest bet would be to get a remote ballast 250 watt hps, an air cooled hood, and a small fan to pull air off the hood. If it was a magnetic ballast, you could put in a CMH or an HPS bulb, and the extra light never hurts.

i was gonna vent the 150 hood with a 4" boost fan. But would i need something else for the actual ballast?

if i were to go with the floralux150 i wouldnt be able to use both bulbs?

I did a 150 HPS in a 22x29x54 inch cab with a 76CFM axial fan and the ballast inside. It got darn warm in the summer (lots of stretching)

The floralux150 ballast will NOT handle a CMH. 40-150 watt CMH use MH ballasts. 250 &400 use HPS ballasts

I think ill be okay running this setup. I wont even mess with CMH bulbs in that case, CFL's work great for vegging.

With the inline boost fan extracting the heat and a smaller fan blowing at the ballast i think ill be okay. I was even thinking of just cutting a hole on the TOP of my cabinet and making the hood sit flush with the top for maximum plant growth.

just bought a bag of perlite, going to pick up some FFOF, rapid rooters, pots, Ph tester, and about 15 Haze X Skunk#1 seeds. Cant wait haha
