when I was 10 years old they refused to allow me into The Scouts......so we broke into the Scout Hut......and borrowed a few Scout uniforms and went 'Bob-a-Jobbing' as counterfeit Scouts, knocking on doors and getting small jobs to do like clearing up leaves, weeding and moving furniture about.......and we got paid for it at least a shilling (5 pence).....

....I did work 'on the dust' for a while, but never got into tarmacing driveways....and I can do a better Pakistani accent than an Irish one....

When I was that age, all of my friends joined the Boy's Club Baseball Team...and all got uniforms...then we wore them, and went out and gathered "Donations"--
Good thing in the late 60's it was mostly cash!!--:whistling:
