it's a part of buying seeds that people don't understand....true ibl's should be more expensive because they took alot of work...like for example i bought and bred kodiak gold....i didn't make f2's i made f whatever generation they were at, like if reeferman sold them at f 9's and i chose my mom and dad and crossed them i made f 10's....just because i bought a pack and started to further the breeding i didn't make f 2's.

now when you buy f 1's from breeders and you like the strain so you want to make seeds your making f 2's....your gonna have a wide variety this time...if you take them seeds you make and choose parents your gonna make f 3's and they will have a wide variety....if you take them seeds you make and go further you'll go f4,f5,f6 and you could eventually make your own ibl of that strain that started as an f1 because it would be stable and be an Inbred line "ibl" after so many generations....some strains become stable faster then others.

'so if you buy a pack of bubblegum. which has been stable since the late 80's I think. make your own seeds. you made more stable bubblegums. not f2's that would show wild traits of both parents.' i know certain companys bubblegum are stable but nirvanas i beg to differ there were at least 2 diff phenos not that am complaining i paid ten pound for the seeds

there will almost always be more than one pheno. don't get stable confused with clone like results. few if any plants do that.

bubblegum has a pole plant pheno and a more branchy pheno. always has and will

So if I had a clone only strain and had to outcross it to breed. Like Trainwreck say outcrossed to Blockhead. Now I have a hybrid of trainwreck and Blockhead. I can backross generations to the original trainwreck to stabalize the qualities I want. But it wouldn't be an IBL of Trainwreck right? It would be an IBL of the Trainwreck/Blockhead cross since there would always be some of the outcrossed genes from the Blockhead male in it. Hence Blockwreck...

You are 100% right, no matter how many times you incross the Blockwreck it will never be a TW IBL..

Even if you backcrossed the Blockwreck to the original TW clone a hundred times you will still not have an IBL of TW. You would have a 99%+ TW IBL, but there would still be blockhead in there, and technicaly should never be called pure TW again.

But that doesn't mean people out there will follow this simple rule. ;)

...ad if blockhead is in the mix ..then you also have

...in no particular order:

-the crazy african sativa (daddy)
-sweet tooth (mommy)
-dj shorts blueberry (grandpa on the sweet tooth side)
-sweet pink grapefruit (in there but i forget where..swt mom I think????)

now add in the "Trainwreck" Lineage, which I dont know at all....(so add it here if u know) "C-Dro"...any help there?

Look at all those possible phenos now.
