got her done! check it out guys. i have no funky shit in my res. it mixed up clean and tastes great.....jk. i had too many clones and i really didnt want to kill em. damn my soft heart lol. i triple potted most of the ones i would have tossed and squeezed em in. gonna play around with independetly scrogging each pot with plastic netting wrapped around the pots. im also doing a side by side air pot vs regular pot all done with veg+bloom. hopefully this goes well. i ordered a pound today and if i like it i will start picking up more. thanks for all the good info in here.

EC, EC, EC that's the game changer. I'm hitting these with 1.8-2.0EC all day with rockwool , haven't even looked at the ph cuz I know it's 5.9-6.1 all week.

damn CB! youve got a certified jungle. youre gonna need a hatchet to chop down that forest when its all done lol. i wish i had the time a patience to veg mine to that size before the flip. i needed to fill some space so i just put em in and flipped. they arent even all of my keeper phenos, just some better picks from the seed run. the next run i am gonna veg to good size and then flip proper. looking good everyone.

i love how this shit hits 6ph on the nose every time. im running 3/4 tsp/gal with drip clean and it lands perfect every time. im gonna stop checking in a week or two when im more comfortable with it lol. my one lb tub showed up today in 2 days :)

DH, you're using Blumats aren't you? You should be aware that (at least with my water) the pH drifts low over a week or so. I start mine at 6.2 and over the course of 7-10 days, it will go down to about 5.5. This works well for getting all of the nutrients sweet spots covered, but is a little different than the guys running recirculating systems which I think naturally tend to rise over time so the pH stays stable as a result of this action. I then bring it back up in a couple of steps (no more than .5 at a time) and let it do it again.

Looking very nice, Dan. Did you cut the higher feed rate sooner on these, or are these still from your original methodology?

The left side about to be harvested are still running on the old method of feeding . the biesels on the right @ 2 weeks are bieng fed according to their directions .the biesels will get 2.0 for the next week or 2 (they go 10 weeks ) then I'll start dropping from there .

6 Serious AK47, 1 Riserva Pravada OG Kush and 1 Purple Marty tester.

Soil is a mix of Happy Frog, Ocean Forest, Perlite and Dolomite Lime.

Vegging under 1200w (2-600)

I usually KISS with Maxi Bloom but Netprophet sold me on Veg+Bloom. I have my MB routine pretty dialed in so this is a new start and I don't have an EC meter and I'm too tight to go buy one lol. I know...EC, EC, EC.. I don't have the extra cash to spend on a good EC meter right now and I doubt the $20 ones are worth a shit. So for the moment I'll be doing teaspoon measurements and adjusting based on plants reaction.

These ladies (7 of them anyways) have been in their 5g containers for 5 days today.

So yesterday I gave them their first shot of Veg+Bloom, a very light dose of 1 tsp-5g..

This is very against my normal routine. I don't usually feed until after week 4, my soil mix has plenty to get them to flower however there are some beneficials in the VB like silica, carbs and fulvics that I thought would be a good addition to the beginning of their veg stage. They liked it. They really perked up last night and grew quite a bit. I had a slight issue with heat and lights too close and a couple sensitive plants started to taco but they are pulling out of it. The PM and OG seem to be less tolerant than the AK.

The stink is on too, this is going to be a fun one!

your ak and mine look damn near identical leaf structure but mine are fms. thanks for the tip rives. i will start that asap. i used to do the same for my house and garden line. start low and gradually bring it from 5.5 to 6.3 over a week and then when i would top off start low again. i ran full strength on my moms and the younger ones seem to like it just fine but my herijuana looks really dark green so i backed em off a little bit. im happy so far. id love to hit my gpw goal this next round. the current half run may not because its a mix and match run but all decent plants for the most part. next run is all my top notch keepers

hey rives i meant to ask you do you simply top off your res with fresh nutes or do you drain it all out and start from scratch? i would assume top off for the most part since its dtw the nutrients are never drawn off at different rates so it should be good to go.

I always just top it off. It stays in solution great, I had emailed Chris at H-R about whether or not it would be a problem to just keep topping off or if there was an issue with running a large reservoir over an extended period, and he said no problem. The only thing that I have seen with it is the slow downward drift of the pH, as I mentioned above. It would be interesting to find out if that is a characteristic of my water, or a normal progression on a DTW system.

When I start dropping the EC toward the end of the flower cycle, I just add straight water to the reservoir until I hit the EC that I want and then pH it. It's worked great so far.
