I can definitely see the resemblance in bud structure to smokeyla1 plant. Def OG dominant. I'll post up a smoke report when everything's dry and cured a Bit.

Let's get to it! Bud density from 1 to 10 I'd give it a 7. Taste is not like lemon pine but more forest like it smells with a slight berry background. Effect is very Indica. Couch lock effect that makes your head feels like it's 75 pounds. Made me pop my SDK x Mental Floss cross. It appears I might have 2 ladies. One leaning towards MF with some spacing between the nodes. One stout looking plant with big leaves Def leaning towards the SDK very short spacing between the nodes. Be more than happy to answer any questions.

I crossed a kickass version of a sour d I had with a kyle kushman strawberry cough a breeder friend had to make my own strawberry diesel. Popped some seeds and they are going into flower in a week or so. Excited to see the different phenos!

nice matt ! keep us updated. I have a pack of fractals strawberry D . not sure if its the same as the "SDK" that these guys are talking about. Im holding off on em right now, ive got motarebels lung candy , which I hope is more strawberry less deisel, gonna run these first then maybe the fractal gear.

Strawberry D= Strawberry Diesel which is Strawberry Cough x Diesel.

SDK= Strawberry Diesel Kush which is Strawberry Diesel x OG Kush.

Thanks edro, I didnt know there had been more than one of the same strain made. Since Bruce Banner is the same cross as "SDK" ..HOWEVER, Bruce is from a very specific OG that was around CO before any of the other "OG's came out... Coal Creek Kush. Fantastic cross regardless ! Favorite in my garden , and the eye of my breeding projects.

This is a quote from Ganesh about the Kush he uses for his breeding. I am currently growing two of the OGBX1s and one looks like it could be northern lights dom. Big fat Indica leaves! But they are both seedlings so it's kind of hard to tell what they will smoke like.

"The OG Kush cut is a very low yeilder with a strong pine, fuel, lemon, kush smell and very smooth and very tastey pine kush taste. Very comforting, creative, social type high with some body. The longer allowed to mature the stronger it gets.A Sativa dominat NL/OG Kush Male was used to pollinate the OG cut to make these BX1`s. The OG/NL F1`s had better potency than the og cut and most a better yeild.There were variations in bud structure and type and strength of smell but the most sat dom pheenos had a very strong fuelly pine kush smell and taste.Very strong and tastey. I would expect the BX to decrease the yeild but to improve the kush qualitys. Untested.
JLP in-crossed them and sent some to me, i in-crossed it again, and that's the generation that i'm working with.
The freebies that are floating round are the same as well. "

Been looking for the strawberry diesel seem to be out of stock every where trying to recreate the bruce banner since there are no seeds of it to be had currently.

Hey marmab, I have been wanting to do the same for a while, even though I have the #3 its sooo good ! However ,unless you have some very special friends, it is not entirely possible as the female used is a VERY rare clone only OG called Coal creek Kush (NOT cold creek kush!) Im not even sure if it is around anymore and kinda doubt it. I bought Strawberry D beans with the intention of doing something similar. However I am now changing my approach . INstead of using strawberry D I am going to use a lung candy male on the bruce then bx with the least deisel pheno, back to the bruce. I am hoping to take some of the speedyness of the deisel out and add more of the strawberry terpene, and calm the buzz a bit. I have just harvested some beans I made by crossing a sweet tooth male to my banner mom. Could be some cool phenos in there.

Fractal or ganesh must be using kush as the strawberries taste and smell compliement not overpower the strawberry.
Im searching for a pkt and its been at least 3-4,years and still recall the taste.
Its not the lemon stuff!
I hate anything lemomon and dont think any hybrid is potent.
