BTW, is the original Bullrider different to the Afghan Bullrider Marco Renda is selling?
I find it hard to see the point in selling that Afghan Bullrider, it's a cross that came about when some plants in a back garden hermied, so definitely not the correct basis for any breeding programme to begin from.
The "watermelon" astroboy originally came from winnipeg and has made its way across the country. It was grown from a batch of seeds grown out by my buddy, who is actually the same guy who bred the astroboy and conquistador for TGA. I personally selected that plant as a keeper, along with the "Your Mom" astroboy (6 week resin queen, but turned out not to have legs) and the "black licorice" conquistador. The watermelon is a great yielder with an outstanding taste, smell, and appearance. The high is nice too, but nothing amazing. She's still grown a lot around here, but I'm trying to get these guys to start some new genetics like the godzilla x lemon swiss. We shall see.
The Highend I encountered was very nice, but also the slowest vegger I have ever come across. We only sampled Docs Atomic Northern Lights. Old school taste and smell, with a rippin buzz in a chunky nug. A grail of sorts. We will be sampling more on Monday at Bubblemans. Will keep yous updated. Peace GS
ps. Hey Greens glad you are well. Still waiting on the new Lemon Swisses from Breederbrad!!!!
The market doesn't seem to think so.. at least not yet anyways. And yeah rockstar is great smoke, for some reason I have a hard time believing you have the cut though.. If you really do we might know each other.
pre 94 champagne not the east coast strain but the commercial drive one and pre 94 skunk #1 from sensi phenom thats basically cheese. i have herd great thngs about the ortega phenom of lui and a rare hp cutting from out east. ive also seen a monster nebula phenom that looks like the old romulan.
We are running a clone only Mataro Blue from somewhere along the 401. Have not smoked the buds yet, but it is supposedly very good smoke. We have her indoors and out.
Outside we still are growing the old tried and tested strains; Chemo, Northern Lights, and Friesland.
Other than those we are testing a few hundred seed plants. Gotta keep popping seeds to find our next star clone.
I am very interested in what everyone else is growing around Canada these days. Indoors and out. Lets hear it...
