Any "clone only" strains in Canada

Exactly Coco. done in under 7 weeks completely swallowing the hairs and turning 30% amber.
here I am pheno hunting back in 2000. these are 35mm photos I set on my table and took pics of with my modern sony camera. I should take all these few hundred old pics and get em scanned to digital.

my buds back east like to call it crinkle because of the way the leaves have the deep crinkly grooves. I don't know if this is also the "crinkle cut" I have read about over the past while since joining the internet that seems to be rooted out of Ontario.

i smoked the crinkle like .. whoa. long tine ago in ontario. thx for that. lol. i remeber it fondly. think "crinkle cut" was diff tho, a kali mist from thomas@serious seeds.. but fucked if i know. what we called crinkle in ontario def wasnt a kali mist. lol. the hash monkeys wouldnt know what to make of a sativa back then.. while a hasplant.... or hasplant cross... sounds more reasonable.

anyway. back then, i remeber the shisk, never saw it again here, and the hashplants. some HP poped up here and there..

wish i grew back then. oh well.

The lime one is way lighter green and has much softer rounder leaf shape, can get almost saliva looking, and grows huge round calyx's.

ya, I don't think I ever grew the big green hash plant you guys are talking about. Heck so many cuts were made in so many gardens in bc by all us hobby growers. I guess it's the hope that somewhere out there someone is still enjoying something that came from a seed sprouted in some guys basement.

Never seen any Blackberry Kush around my parts but I think I may be familiar with that Shishk/HP Tynehead Tom is talking about. also pretty sure we have the RKS(Skunk Bud) up here in the Bush still.

the shisk/HP had a sharp sweet flavour going in and that deep hashy indica exhale. even for us at the time, with super high tolerances to most of the killer weed cut thru and was a 2 toke hitter without a ddoubt. The haska (shisk/HP) or Crinkle would have been more often found in the wawa, bracebridge, Whitby, muskokas areas. Who knows how far it went once it hit Ontario, it was a long time ago that those plants made the rv trip to Ontario hehehe
man I wish I could find her again but glad that somewhere out there she is still being enjoyed

speaking of clone onlys from BC, I got gifted some seeds the other day from my old grow guru. Authentic UBC Kimo(original cut) x Purple Afghani (seed), the cross done beginning of 1990. I remember helping separating these very seeds from their flowers way back then.
I put down 4 of them on 420 and one is sprouting!!! let's pray its a female, i'll make S1's and off to the races

YES!! the mom was a very blueberry leaning lady and showed the sativa in her leaves the further she goes into flowering.

The Purple Afghani was the first weed I ever grew on my own, back in Chilliwack BC. I remember it had an earthy lungfilling smoke, with a hint of sweetness. It's cured buds didn't exibit any purpling in the cuts I got but the leaves took on a very dark almost purple hue as they matured. I was a novice back then and when I got the chance to fill my garden with Northern light#5 , the purple afghan took a back seat hehe.

The best way to describe Kimo from my memory, it was a one toke hitter. You could feel it in your face, heating up your forhead and making it feel sweaty LOL It most certainly was full on couch lock. I don't remember it having much flavour, not as far as sweetness or fruity flavours go anyways.
Kimo was also a great smoke to go along with shrooms or LSD, just helped keep everything groovy and was one of the few smokes that you could feel while impaired on such fun psychadelics
