MGJ- I have heard of the PBP, and I might give it a try, thanks for the ageOld bloom tip too, I'll have to look in to that. yea it'll be more work than usual, but I'm hoping to spread it out so that I don't get overwhelmed.
cali- Thanks man I put up a few shots in there..
TML- Hey thanks for stoppin by bro. thanks for your endorsement!
sorry no pics today I am busy taking care of problems in my veg closet...seems that my brand new 125w cfl that I was soo proud of fizzled out on me and now I am scrambling to try and come up with a solution. the bulb is perfectly fine, its the electronics inside that fizzled. so if anyone out there has a 125w CFL ballast with a broken bulb, but the ballast electronics still works throw me a PM please?
I am thinking about rigging up some CFL coils, and going from there...they are cheaper anyways...I also have a 150HPS that came from a wall mount fixtrue I converted awhile back, and I might use that depending on how the temp issues go, maybe even suppliment with the CFL, again, depending on what I can do about heat.
Don't worry you haven't missed much, my cherry SDxAK is still up- at 68 days now..I promise more pics...be patient!
Bfl- Thanks for stoppin by, and for the well wishes.
Now for the update-tasticness:
First up we have my veg cab how it stands now. I had to re-do everything in it because my 125w CFL died on me after 3 days of use. I put in a 150w HPS, and after temps soared past 100F I cut some vent holes in the back, that got it down to 95, so I had to scrap the fan that I was using and install a small dayton blower fan. I'm not sure of the CFM, probably around 200. It's overkill anyways... and that solved everything, I even put in a 23w CFL for the seedling side.
I have just popped/ am popping more beans!
Ok first round is 2 Blueberry X AK47 (same dad as the cherry SDxAK)
and 1 flo from dutch passion. They are now officially above ground and this is day 1 veg for them.
Then my latest round that just went into the paper towel:
2 AK47 F2's
2 Purple Stickyberry x AK47 The stickyberry was from my first grow I have no idea what the genetics are...it was a (good) bagseed. I cloned it and kept it around for awhile , but then flowered out the mom, and quit growing for awhile. It turned slightly purple at the top and tasted/smelled like tart candy berry. Hands down the best tasting herb I have ever grown. I have no idea how this cross is going to turn out..
I got some elbows for light traps that will go in soon, other than that it should be good to go.
And now on to the cherry pheno SDxAK. She is at 69 days, and even though there is still a few white hairs, and it could go another 5 days or so I'm guessing she is getting the chop and I am gong to try a reveg with all of my might.
And last but not least a shot of my half empty flowering chamber. I had to kill a bubblicious already because it showed balls, and now it looks like the SDxAK (far right) is going to be male too...
but look at those apollos WOWEEEEE these things are out of control!
I'll get some closeups of the one in the back, she is frosting up nicely. It stopped stretching just right, but her sister would probably be 6 feet tall by now if it wasn't for all of my tying.
hello again everyone!
I have a few extra mins so I thought I'd put up a few pics of the Purple stickyberry so you could all see how the mother of the Stickyberry x AK47 cross looked.
Hiya Anima
Strong work my friend - that is some delicious looking kindness! Much for your experimentation - lots of fun to be had crossing what you like. This is great - I get to see a bunch of AK47 crosses all in one place
Hello there MGJ!- Yea It should be exciting...although I must admit that the Blueberry x AK might be blueberry F2's, but I'm pretty sure the ak47 is the father.
I will definitely be enjoying my bounty
Black Ra1n-thanks for popping in. It's much appreciated!
Here are a couple of shots from my more indica/(cindy 99??) leaning phenotype Apollo 11. 37 days in the flowering chamber now.
hello all you lurkers out there.
sorry no pics for you this time....
but there is a bit of an update that needs to be made.
first off the bad news: one of the AK47 F2's have been devoured by some kind of insect larvae before it made it above ground
But I am happy to report that the other AK47 F2 and both the Purple stickyberry x AK47's made it above ground and they are now officially on day 1 veg!
Also more good news: a New addition to the gene pool (lake)! A little bird gifted me some seeds, it said that the mother was a Sour bubble bx1, but it wasn't too sure about the father (thats the bees job y'know?) but it had a feeling that he went by the name of Casey Jones, or maybe C13. 3 seeds were placed into a paper towel about 24 hours ago and 1 has cracked so far. I'll get baby pics of everything when these break ground.
And more news worth noting: I am now officially going back to all organics, and have just ordered some Pure blend pro grow, PBP bloom for soil(it is different than the hydro version), and some liquid karma. I was just wondering: Should I have gotten the cal/mag plus stuff too or is it already in there? I'd like to hear some opinions here if you all please!
Thanks!

Well Don't everyone all talk at once....(seriously)
Well heres a baby pic:
From left to right starting in the back row: AK47 F2, Flo, Purple Stickyberry x AK47, (front row) Blueberry x AK47, Blueberry x AK47, P. Stickyberry x AK47
2 of my Sour Bubble bx1 x Casey Jones/c13 have almost made it above ground. I should have a pic for you all of those tomorrow.
Heres a shot of the flowering cab:
As you can see the one indica pheno apollo is doing great, but the sativa pheno so far is a real dissappointment. Sure there is a lot of buds, but they are airy have practically no trichomes, weak smell, and it is just generally a PITA. I would have killed it, but since I have nothing else to fill the space with for now, she stays. The bubblicious is doing alright, along with it's new companion the other SDxAK that I was saving to get cuts from before I flowered it, but it was getting root bound, and rather than it take up more veg space; into the flowering chamber she went. It's day 1 flower for her.
Heres a quick snapshot of the top of the more indica pheno Apollo 11:

Hiya Anima
Been offline for the holiday - WOW the place is looking great! Lovin your Apollo 11s - haven't seen a grow of this in some time, looks very tasty!
On that stretchy Apollo11 sativa pheno - if you can give 0 N ( or close to 0 ) and give it a double dose of low/0 N bloom fert you might be surprised what she does the last week or two. Just an idea since you're keeping her around.... The indica pheno looks killer
Hmmm, gonna keep my eye on the SBxC-SomethingDad - interesting ride I bet...
sorry 2 hear that sativa pheno is a dissapointment.....i had that 2 with that afgan x AK47...she woz under par for me...she grew nice and easy though....
i had fun and thats what matters here....we are all looking for that one plant that keeps us getting high ..it just can take a while before you find some great keepers...but i guess you know that...nway nice update mate
I don't know how much sativa that sativa pheno has, but if it's anything like the 12+ week strains I've grown (purple haze, aussie bush) they really didn't show much in the way of trichomes for a long while, just lots and lots of white hairs..
True sativas tend to have smaller trichomes, which aren't as easily visible to the eye.. but when you smoke em, whooooo
Hi MGJ! Core! ixnay!
Yes the apollo's are quite nice, and don't worry, I haven't sold the sativa pheno down the river just yet. The more indica pheno is starting to put out a nice smell, not too strong. A rub of the stem smells like starfruit or maybe something a bit more tart. Kiwifruit perhaps? It should be some tasty stuff for sure. I took a cut off of it about a week and a half ago and it is still alive. I just used wet peat and perlite with an inverted cup for a humidity dome, Figured I'd give the lo-tek way a chance for once. I guess I'll get some pics of those for ya later but first:
More baby pics:
Sour Bubble bx1 x Casey Jones?/c13
This one sustained some injury to one of it's seed leaves somewhere along the way, but I think it's gonna make it!
And here is the bigger sibling standing tall.
And here is a pic of re-veg progress of the Cherry pheno SDxAK. I made some red circles, it's kinda hard to get closeups of...
Be kind

Hiya Anima
Looking real fine in your garden - that reveg is gorgeous - as are the two Sourbubble babies... Nice macro work dude! You got it goin on - indicas - sats - maturing - new birthings - reveg... Something for everyone!
Hello again Mr GreenJeans!
Thank you very much sir! Yup a little bit of everything. My continuing search has gone far and wide, with ever more glorious splendors! haha
Not really much to report on the garden today. I think I see the starting of male parts on my SDxAK that went into the chamber on Monday. I'll check it over again in a bit and make my final determination. kind of a bummer because that would have been around Christmas for the harvest and now I'll be jones-in fer sure.
--EDIT--I just checked it over and found some pistils, so, I take it all back...Christmas time will be joyful indeed!--EDIT--
I sure hope these seedlings get it in gear so I can keep this somewhat perpetual harvest going!
I should have time a bit later for more pics of everything.
Man, I haven't been here in a looooooong time! Dude, your Apollo's look spectacular. You must be happy with those. I wish mine would have made it through. After seeing yours I definitely wanna try them.
