Well I have been busy making my hydro ebb n' flo flip/flop vision come true.
So far:
Have the framing up for my new cab gotta get to work now that I have the tub...
Got my tub
got PVC and fittings, and glue, and primer
spare 400w HPS bulb
scrap sheet metal for the reflector painted flat white.

On the way:
Heavy duty dual pole dual throw 110V coil relay
4 3.5 gal buckets (black)
cooltube (pyrex bake-a-round)
mogul base
pump 396GPH ecoplus 20w
timer
hydroton
4x4 stonewool growblock x6

Nutes:
Flora Nova Series 1 part Grow, and 1 part bloom
Floralicious grow, and bloom
Fulvic acid
Silica blast
Clearex
Hydroguard
Cal mag plus (if needed)

Still need:
More ducting
small circulation fan
14 Ga Extension cords to butcher for the connections (I might buy the wire (300V) and plugs seperate??) need at least 1 spare male plug.
Electric box to house relay
heavy duty socket to plug the lights into the relay box

It's all coming together! I can't wait to see what kind of performace I get from this system!
I was thinking about adding in my 150W (maybe just hang it vert?) to the hydro side since I would need to veg for a while on that side, and the flip/flop aspect only alotts (can't spell shit today) 12 hours for each cab.
so maybe overlap the 150 on 3 hours on each sideof the on/off of the 400w...3+12+3=18 hours. It even gives the plant a nice slow transtion to the brightest part of its day...I haven't been too impressed with it for a veg light anyhow..back to the ole flouros...

Well I'm going to go and see what I can get done tonight..let me know what you all think!!
Oh and the stickyberry and flo are coming up on 65 days on the 1st of JAN so look out for some pre-chop pics SOON!!!:friends:

Hey homie i just read the thread about FN or PBP both are great but for you right now i think your makin' the right choice with FN, and Florolicious, i used to add Europonics Fossil Fuel for humics, you cant beat it for 25 to 30 bucks a gallon. Plus it looks like you have all the FN your gonna need allready! depending on how long you veg.

The "T" your reffering too is 1" T 1" BY

Well i just looked at one
with the "T" and the black
screw in hose connecter, now
we know that the hose is 1/2" I.D.
so to retain that I.D. of the connecter
the "male"threads on the connecter are
3"/4" O.D., so the(downward)part on the PVC "T" is 3'/4" I.D.
keeping 1"/2" I.D. on the hose (1"/2" rubber
hose blue or black same ole sh1t we all use)
all nice and lovely, bt the way the "strait"
part of the "T" is 1" 1"/4" I.D. to accept the 1"
PVC that will "slip" not thread into and out of
each enf of the "T". CORNFUSING ENOUGH?
HE HE HE!!! All PVC is measured by INSIDE DIAMETER
or "I.D." So what you are looking for is a
1" by 1" slip by 1"/2" threaded "T"

Goddang wrote a novel on that one eh? he he he!! Well i hope you got it. You'll find that woderfull little 1"/2" threaded connecter/hose addapter in the sprikler section of Hemp Depot, where ther keep all the RAINDRIP stuff, lotta little tiny sprayers and doo dads in there but its there, waitin for ya!!! he he he!!!

Man ,, I just got done smoking my last bowl of Apollo that I had, and I topped it with a generous dusting of (cindy pheno apollo) kif from my grinder...and man was that shit strong...it seriously gave me a psychedelic effect on the fist hit...it was kind of almost like a salvia hit it was that intense...lasted about 30secs...to tell ya the truth I think it was kind of scary...but I'm ok..it was kind of fun..glad I was sitting down..If it wasn't for the fact that I was the one that grew the stuff I would have thought it was laced! I know what people mean when they say "racy" now. I'll definitely keep her around for another round!...big surprise...I'll have to make damn sure that she gets the proper cure next time!

Construction has been making progress, and I got my relay..So much to do....

oh and thanks of the description of tht "threaded T " that I can find at the HD..everything should be coming together nicely and pretty fast too... I just have to get off the puter and pick up the hammer and saw, and get the rest of the cab built...I still have got to figure out how I am going to get an intake in there...

SG55- Hey man thanks for stopping by! I'm glad you dig on my Flo plant...She got the axe yesterday at day 66.

I'm going to let the stickyberry go for awhile longer...I'll be sure to snap a few more pics...she really has churned out some frost in the past few days..

Stay tuned for lots more...almost have my 2nd cab built...just need to figure out a door, a few ventilation holes, and a bit of electrical work and everything should be up and running like a champ!

Well I have been hard at work on my "project"....
I got the cab mostly built (still lacking door), and painted.

Oh, and I got my buckets...

Also, I just finished up the wiring on my Flip/flop relay box:

I still haven't got any of my lamps hooked up to/wired for it yet, but I did test the timer cord to make sure it energized the coil, and flipped the flop...so far so good

Sorry no budshots this time...Guess you'll just have to around longer...
but don't worry not too long

I apologise for the lack of nugg pics lately, but I have been busy...The stickyberry is still up, and should be coming down within a day or so. I'll be sure to take a few extra snapshots to make up for it...

yup, lots of work but it has been fun so far
Nope, it's not DWC...take a closer look...the buckets are set up Multi-flow ebb/flo style..The upside-down U overflow thing elimates the need for a controller... heres the link: Bonz' super simple Ebb & flow buckets
I am going to try and replicate his 2 bucket system (and 14OZ yield ) as best I can.

Thanks for stoppin' by!...was getting lonely..Thanks for your compliments on my electrical job :wink:...turned out better than I expected really....I was going to mount it in a tin, but I figured my safety was worth the $30 or so I figured I'd have to pay for the appropriate box...so off the the hardware store I went, and I ended up finding a Pull out disconnect switchbox that was supposed to be used as an air conditioning disconnect...only $7!!!!

The wiring was pretty straight forward, at first I was a little wary, but when I got the relay, and took a look at it it made total sense...easier than rewiring a ballast...The only thing I am kinda worried about is the heat coming off of it, being that it is a small box with very little ventilation...I might end up drilling some holes in the lid....
