How your able to manage a canopy with that type of density and hand watering . You just really have a way with the lady/s don't cha?

Buds are starting to stack nicely.
Getting some yellowing a little early, need some nutrients.

Nice Finish Mendo,

First, what I don't like about the Gavida's is that the ballast is connected to the hood, making any sort of venting/heat control difficult. I saw someone recommended them earlier in the thread.
Second, throw a MH in the center of that HPS slew and watch how the Blue spectrum adds more crystals then just a HPS red spectrum. (This Blue spectrum/Ultra Violet is why in the summer Light Dep's are so crystally versus full season plants finishing in October.)
Third, I'm not sure how many Skywalker OG cuts are out there, but The Skywalker OG I ran this fall didn't make the cut. Too lanky, Buds too small, Great smell.
Which is a bummer, cause I was growing straight Skywalker in '03, '04 and am I bummed I lost that original Plant. I jumped at the chance to regrowing Skywalker, but that OG cross is not it.
I swtiched to DE Boss Hoods, and I do have to recommend them. The penetration of the light into the canopy is incredible. The resulting yield was markedly higher then my older setup.

Just saw someone else post yesterday on IG about filling a room with what they thought was animal and it wasn't. I think you might have gotten the same cuts as the dude or you must know him because they look somewhat similar to me.

Actually there is a reason why they do that and like most upper end units are attached like that Epaps same design and for a good reason
Having your ballast close to your lamp reduces the amount of EMI (RF interference) which in turn gives better overall performance with 8 percent plus more grow light 95 percent par after one year
you mention more crystals TBO its strain dependent just by adding a MH is not going to bring out the best
these leads me to next question why bother with MH when there are full spectrum plasma or CMH on the market that will be more benificial then a MH in any aspect of growing remember MH has only a CRI of 70 where plasma .or CMH are over 95 huge difference there

The Skywalker I have is DANK! I'm pretty sure its the Skywalker OG, may be its just Skywalker heavy indica, fat leafs, full thick sweet buds. Does great indoors and outdoors! I got her in 2006.

wish I had Duel bulbs. I had these sun systems vented hoods and when I got the new digi balasts did not what to by new hoods.

I like the vent system threw the hoods with an extra out take on a environment controller. Now thats is cooler the room runs nice and cool with little extra ventilation and No AC.

I was thinkin 2 MH bulbs and 2 HPS when I do a blub replacement.

I've heard some people getting 2# per light with duel end bulbs but I think they are full of it.

Sorry to hear they wasnt what u expected.. I was actually gonna run the animal cookies but strayed away kuz i couldnt find anyone who successfully grew it without a hermi issue.. But dnt give up, keep doing what u do best.. Next time make sure all ur strsins are legit b4 u give them a

The only disappointment is it what not what I expected.
I traded AC/DC for it.

This is the second time I have used this room.
I did learn a lot from the first run:
2 gal smart pots dry out to fast for hand watering.
how tall the plants should be to flip and not stretch into the light for my space.
how tall to have the hortanova.
How many plants can fit in the canopy. (I had 80 2gal smart pots before, now its 35 5gal grow bags.)

The room did better than the first time I ran it.
looks like I'm getting it dialed in.
Its a win win, more weed to smoke I'm almost out.

everything is stacking nice, I'm going to cut off the nutes this week. about 2 weeks left!

May be I'll upgrade to this in April for a summer splash.
