We have TiVO, cable, and Kodi x 2 (on a generic Android box and PC). TiVO is now worthless as tits on a boar, cable is still the only reliable source for live TV, but the Kodi is just way too much wacko fucking fun to miss if you are a surfer type.

High guys

I'm running kodi on my PC and am using Exodus for TV series & films and Pheonix for premiership games.

Is there anything else you guys would recommend or do those two add on's pretty much cover everything?:tiphat:

Thanks in advance!

PS - I heard a rumour that kodi is going to be back on the Xbox soon

Regards!

I like uk Turks for documentaries, stand up comedy, music/concerts, live cctv feeds(the tiger shark feed is cool), fitness videos and food porn.

Exodus for films/tv series.

Phoenix for live tv.

Lube tube for the Mrs *embarrassed face*

I would also like to know of any new

Zem TV (not to be confused with Zen, the movie addon)...has lots of working Skysports and BTsports links for you guys across the pond for soccer/football. Its also how I watch PPV UFC fights(BTsports 2), prefer it to Sportsdevil, b/c quality's better.

Movies- Zen from Schism Repo, Release Hub from The Entertainment Repo, Silent Hunter, and The Pyramid from Tomb Raider repo, are the ones I have been using the most lately. The picture quality is slightly better than the G-video links you see on Exodus. Little less judder, with more fluid motion. Icefilms is where I go if I can't find a 1080p, it has the best 720p and includes 5.1 surround sound with most of them, looks like 1080p. Maverick, Sanctuary, and Bob also.:tiphat:

I still use premade builds but that's just me being lazy. The guy updates once a week and keeps adding and taking away addons. I've got nearly all the add ons you mentioned meraxes but I still only find myself using specto, exodus and yes movies.
I don't watch live TV so that's all I ever need but I like pretty backgrounds so I use the best looking build I can find... that'd my main criteria lol

Are you guys running kodi on pc or on fire stick? I use the stick. I'm running the wizard edition of kodi.. Runs very fast and the screensaver pics are truly outstanding!! The beauty and wonder of this earth is amazing.

How are the builds running on Krypton? Kodi Co. was trying to make it difficult for them to operate in Krypton. If you're having trouble with wizards/builds, you can always just go back to Jarvis. The thing is, is that in Krypton, they have noticeably improved playback for vids, and live tv. I choose to just pop the repo url's in the File Manager with a fresh kodi, and download the addons I want. I noticed less clutter and slowdown. I have a list of the url's I keep closeby, anytime I want to do a fresh start. Lazy is cool tho man, the best people in the world are lazy IMO...no drama. Kodi, and these great addons, are basically stoner heaven anyway. I love it!

Good form Gav, the Mucky Duck repo is a must, forgot about that one. This gives you your Yes movies, 123movies, Pubfilm(good for tv shows), M4U movies.

A tent, a TV, Kodi, and a wife, you never have to leave the house....Wait, no that's not right, go get some sun people, you need the vitamin D...

You can get vitamin D supplements im fine lol
Ive got one of this guys builds running on kodi 17. He has updated them to work.
He also runs an iptv service with all sky channels and free ppv events for 10 quid a month. I signed up last night its great all channels most with their hd channels aswel no buffering.
Here is his url for his wizards. For kodi 17 i recomend the SLY 17 build http://thegriffbuild.co.uk/TGBW

Im still using spmc mostly so im still using previous versions i only downloaded kodi 17 to try out how the builds work and they seem good.

the alpha reborn addon is stacked with viewing content I haven't seen elsewhere. there are lots of subsections and there is so much you need to play around and see what's under the sub-icons.https://tutorial-iptv-xbmc.blogspot.com/2017/02/watch-3d-4k-movies-on-kodi-alpha-reborn.html
I was a bit upset when The Alpha went down a couple months back. Now looks like he's joined the Phoenix crew, good team of developers. Nice 4k section on there. My oldest and I watched The Revenant for a second time in 4k on there. Started right up, and played nice and fluid like. The scenery in that movie is just ridiculous, the untouched American landscape of the mid 1700's. Everything I was getting told me it was around the time of the French/Indian War possibly...

I'm on the edge. Of what I'm not sure.

How was the picture quality of Arrival and other recent movies? I tried to watch Rogue One and it was awful. Then streamed an older movie and it was crystal clear.

You have to pay attention to the stream.....1080p and HD are your go to. Even then, some can be poor qualty. If you can not find a good stream today, move on and check againin a.couple days. It doesnt take long.

I'm having a problem with streaming even 1080. I don't know if it's my speed. I have not got very fast Internet but should be enough to stream a 1080 movie at 23mbps. Just get constant buffering where as 720 is fine. It wasn't like this before

What is the best device now in terms of being ready to go and reliable? Sports are first priority. Can spend $200.

Had heard Amazon box is better than the firestick. I have dsl at 2.9 mbps download. Might be able to get cable with better speed but not sure. Buffering might wreck things here?

I guess most or a lot of this content is 'pirated' and things always changing to get around rules? Can not see how I am spending $150 a month for directv and now can get similar for little or nothing. Morals aside they will clamp down on this in time I would expect.

They do the same to me at times or film stops n backs out back to stream list. I've got 40-50mbps Was it on exodus by any chance? Put locker, ymovies moviehd are the main ones that crash

I don't know if it's my speed.

download Indigo and you can check your network speed among other features.

Stream Army is another great addon. lots of foreign movies with subtitles (good links for the most part). having problems with some sections of Stream Army links not working but this is another killer addon to install.

thanks again Meraxes.
