Yeah I watched it at weekend,it was pretty weak.
In the UK Amazon have updated and have blocked the firestarter app and now I can't watch mobdro bummer. Gonna get the shield in next couple of months
Try getting a VPN, and put your ISP in the US. I paid $50 for a year of mine, but you can do it monthly prob like $5/mo. There's free ones that will work, but i recommend a paid one.
I know right? What a bunch of fuckin jerkoffs that made that movie. There was one spaceship that didn't even move, and you didn't even see one alien. The rest was as if a teenage Twilight or Divergent took a giant shit in your eyes...My son and I were pissed. 1 hour and 57 min we can't get back...

I know right? When I see the trailers for this movie couple of months back I couldn't wait to see it. Proper let down.
I've got mobdro working,just kept clicking it and eventually it started up. I'm still using mobdro and kodi but instead of it having its own little section on the firestick it's now all on main Amazon dashboard.
Im starting to think that maybe they will block kodi soon. They already removed the app from Amazon app store because of the copyright thing.
They won't block Kodi, it's just an open source software. Legally if they did, I would think they would have to do it to others, and the developers and addons come from different countries around the world, so they would have to ban it there also...not likely. You could just pop your vpn in a legal countries isp anyway if it happens which it won't anytime soon. They don't have Kodi sniffing dogs, and they have no legal argument on banning the Kodi platform. They would have to do the same with a shitload of other apps.
Usually with Mobdro I uninstall and reinstall the apk to Shield, about every couple months anyways to get a fresh one. Works great with the Shield, and it's gaming controller. Graphics are great for games also, my son has been playing the new Borderlands, and loves it. Futures all streaming...
while smoking my favorite Malawi last night I was contemplating how few ppl understand how wonderful the xbmc streaming site is. i'm not computer savvy. maybe there are other easy to use free streaming sites with a large movie list.
does anyone know how many movies alone ( not counting tv shows) are in the xbmc library? I saw one time a note while using xbmc that said 40,000 movies were available on just the one addon I was using atm.

That's a lot of movie's and I still can't find any to watch. There's loads I haven't seen obviously but none I fancy watching. Any movie I thought was worth watching I've already watched
I go for the foreign movies.
the typical American movies don't usually get it for me. I did really enjoy Dixieland last night as an exception. can't find any links yet for retribution 2014 date but it looks promising.

When I attempt to install kodi following the tutorials, I click arm version and es file explorer spins for a second then nothing happens. Thoughts? Firestick

As of this point I REALLY dislike the firestick. I can't get mobdro OR kodi to install. I can't even tell which button I'm on on es file explorer. Not impressed at all
I dont have firestick, but I recommend popping "install kodi on firestick" into a youtube search. That way you can just see someone else do it. The ES File Explorer I have for Shield is different. Theres a couple extra things you need to do in the beginning with it, I forget.

I got kodi and mobdro installed finally. I added addon installer but unable to see anything from inside the addon unlike raspberry pi. Plus no streams worked on mobdro. Wow I thought this would go much smoother than this lol
You want the Fusion addon installer? Is that what you have, if not, go to settings--file manager--add source--type in exactly http://fusion.tvaddons.ag ...then name it Fusion. Go back to settings--addons--install from zip--click fusion--click start here---click addon installer or wizard (I do the wizard). It should say enabled in bottom right corner. Now go back to settings--addons--program addons--wizard--and then run it.

That's what I installed, same way I did it on openelec on raspberry pi. I got everything installed but had to manually add all the repository for the addons I wanted for some reason. I'll be honest not a big fan of the firestick right now
yeah a few other guys here bought it and seemed to have trouble with setup. Must of eventually got it going b/c I haven't heard from them...
I just tried Fusion's addon installer. It's not working for me either, somethings going on with it. Try superepo...
