Both Dutch and USA have their place in the hall of fame of genetics
Mostly because of people putting the hard work in an era only the smoke would prove your work as no pictures no videos no hype, if there was hype, it was real.
People and brands were focused on delivering actual results to people worldwide, building their legacy and rep while doing so.
Today no one not in the EU or USA has that legacy.
Even brands that used to have a high rep have fallen for the quick money hype machine.

In terms of today's, I think they are equally shit lol
I've been to AMS lately and New Mexico, you can't find a decent bud to smoke, and prices in the EU are x 3 from my last visit lol
At least in the USA they sell that crap cheap
Used to be so expensive there, but the bud was way more stellar so it figures.

Where is the US equivalent for the Amnesia Haze, White Widow or Lemon Thai to name some?

It is strange that with all the seed available and the trading of clones that Amnesia Haze isn't more popular in the US. I've smoked it and liked it ok. Wouldn't grow it as the effect wasn't great or bad just not great. Other than that I've not met many folks who have tried it.

Same with Cheese. In the late 90's there was cheese around and it was killer. I have never had anyone break out cheese or Amnesia buds.

Rarely Widow but it does happen and usually isn't Widow.

Great strains, just a big watery gap between the people who smoke and grow.
