What would St. Phatty do?

What would progress be in your eyes?

Obviously not voting for or perhaps even tolerating Pelosi.

A Round Table - in the Oval Office - with 24 seats and 24 bong / vaporizer set-ups. with 24 titanium nails and uniformed waiters with blowtorches (and blow-torch training) to help out visitors that like the nail-blow-torch approach to Cannabis consumption.

Maybe with a BHO set up in the White House back-yard, next to what's left of Michele O's 'organic garden', surrounded by a Polycarbonate blast shield in case there's an accident.

with Cannabis growing in what's left of Michele O's 'organic garden' :woohoo:

and a Donation Box so people can donate their frosty fan leaves to the White House stash. :tiphat:

As far as Pelosi - in the real world - she either rips 15 hash oil hits before each press conference, or she is past the middle stages of senility.

Half those kids or better cant even name the three branches of government. Let alone how they are supposed to be a check on each others power.

I blame the parents, these are kids. Is there no one in their lives to teach them to think for themselves? Or has internet celebrity , and likes just destroyed critical thinking in our utes. Sorry, was watchin my cousin vinny again last night.

These kids will destroy the 2nd if they can, and ignore the long term effects of dumping on the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The multi-generational downgrading of our public education is really paying dividends for the man behind the curtains. We now have kids so completely indoctrinated into socialist ideology... just smart enough to work but just dumb enough to not ask questions, and believe the government is capable of handling all our problems. perfect little bolsheviks churning out of the k-12 drone factory. its sad really.

How the fuck did we go from "children should be seen and not heard " to getting lectured about constitutional rights by kids. When the fuck did unelected children become the lawmakers.

Maybe when they were forced to go to school to learn and ended up getting their brains splattered on the blackboard.

Whoever thinks kids should be seen and not heard sounds like a POS to me.

Seems to me that these kids are really switched on and maybe will even cause some change. Who would of thought. After all, all they want is to feel safe. I recall the school not wanting their students to march in protest outside the school grounds because they thought it too dangerous. WTF is going on over there?
Everything changes and evolves, and those that want the good old days to continue will be sadly disappointed. They weren't even that good.

School shootings are always a terrible tragedy and we need to get to the root cause of this problem, without taking away law abiding citizens 2nd Amendment Rights. I respect these kids for practicing their 1st Amendment rights, however, I think they need a reality check. What exactly are they calling for, a ban on guns similar to Australia and England? Get real!
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/23/opinion/australias-gun-laws-america.html

This weeks school shooting was thwarted by an Armed School Resource Officer, yet I have barely heard anything in the media about it? We need metal detectors and either a competent SRO or private security in ALL schools.

I'm not trying to disregard the concerns of these kids, but technically the chances if dying in a school shooting are slim, compared to say, driving a car.

Australia doesn't have a ban on guns, there are just more restrictions.

That's all i would expect, and i think those kids expect, a plan of some sort to lessen the saturation of guns and make it harder to obtain them in the future.

I know most gun fanatics wouldn't be interested in any sort of buy back, but slow progress is better than none.

Who says an amendment can't be modified? Isn't an amendment a modification in the first place?

What if people in the future can produce chemical or nuclear weapons in mass, should everyone have a right to them? I don't think so.....

It's just common sense and an open mind i think the kids want, not 'taking all the guns' by force or whatever.

The same kid calling for the abolishment of our 2nd amendment, is bitching the clear backpacks the school is making mandatory are violating his first amendment rights.

You cant make this shit up... well with a straight face.

I don’t follow everything in the news, but it seems like the Parkland students would settle for three gun law changes. No bump stocks, purchase at 21, and 10 round mag cap.

Bump stocks are a no brainer for me, 21 is debatable, thirty round mags are hard to justify.Ten rounds is more than enough for hunting, hard to argue a need for much more.

None of this will stop the shootings, ten rounds is a lot and can be reloaded easily. Plus all existing guns and mags being stockpiled after every school shooting and resulting political posturing.
