Alternative to High Times?

well i am collector so there is , SKUNK, WEEDWORLD, REDEYE, CANNABIS CULTURE, TREATING YOURSELF, HEADS.

In addition, there is Canamo, for our spanish speaking brothers n sisters and there is also Soft Secrets magazine; available in Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian and French.

From what I read in the Cannabis Culture mag this month, there is also a new magazine called Humbolt Grow. They give an address for it (www.humboltgrow.com) but it doesnt seem to work. Peace.

So my opinion may be a bit biased, but Treating Yourself Magazine is an excellent magazine. No ads for fake bud, no sex ads, just straight forward info! Take a peek at some back issues!- Granny

Yea Treating Yourself.., i picked up a copy from Marko at his stand in the UK,
I had never seen it before, some very interesting stuff in there..
is Skunk the sister publication??

Also Soft Secrets is pretty good as you can download all the older issues you have missed!

there are actually 2 editions of international cannagraphic magazine out..... i dunno if the 1st is still avaliable but seedbay/boo should have em...... thats what this place is origionally the website and the magazine .... they had a few problems and it is an annual now instead of bi monthly last I heard(glad i didnt pay for a subscription lol 6 years to get it hahaha).....

I read their online edition and was pleased, I just wish I could find it at my local news stand. While I would happily pay $20 for a subscription I'm a paranoid person by nature and dont want cannabis related periodicals arriving at my home

Yeh,HT is about money,but IC is about MJ, not being able to say,this fucking sucks or fuck this. .Wow,i like the site better now, i can swear,lmfao! .Its about growin bud and if yer busy doin that,who cares if you can swear or not.I havent heard ONE ratational reason as to why anyone would be upset cus they cant swear,instead why not post up some grow info or pix..Unless there sayin Alaskan Thunderfuck or Thunderfucking Diesel ,lol,theres no reason to swear on an MJ site,imo. . heres what its all about
Treating yerself doesnt come in any packaging where it could be known as a MJ publication,so no worries.Treat yerself to some TYS Mags,its the best one out there right now.As far as CC,i wouldnt support or throw a dime away on that rag,just because of the person who started it all ,too much gossip n slammin others in that rag also. .

so High times is still in print? lol. I havent read it in years. Though we cant knock it, for most of us older guys all we had when we started was HT and a book by either ed rosenthal or jorge cervantes ( yeah we all had the same 2 books) . OG and IC changed all that. You cant get info daily as opposed to waiting a month for some 2 month old news. With IC you can follow grows day by day and watch progess, not just look at some glossy pics.

Im sure there are many good mags out there, and i hear that treating yourself one is really nice, but i like the good old net at this point.

I agree, if you want the best info, you are already here. A monthly print rag can't compete. This is why the paper publishing business is going down the crapper....first with mags and newspapers....

I learned more and better info here in less than a year than all the years before reading HT, CC, Heads.....Sure I got some basics and saw some nice pix, but ICMag helped put it all in context, with way more details and updates. Plus the info here is sometimes personally crafted for you and your garden. Try to get a magazine to tell you what those leaf spots are....try to send a photo in to Jorge and see if your garden survives while he gets to it (if ever). Can't touch the Infirmary we got here.

Sad fact that paper can't compete anymore.....
