Good for you to use the SI. It helps with disease resistance and makes the stems stiffer to handle some more weight. Allows you to work with them more in the trellis without fear of breaking. Glue can double to triple its size real easily in the stretch phase. The 1 cola per square is a good plan. I was to thick/dense this run and the buds are a bit smaller because of that. There are a ton of them though. I am going to go for every other square this run. I am running 3.5" squares.

Got my harvest all hanging. Room is 63 degrees and 43% humidity...not to shabby. I have a combination of 3 carbon filters to deal with the smell. My lady came home and complimented me on the smell control...nice!! Got the water drained and running H202 to clean it up. All equipment, fans out and cleaned with alcohol or bleach. cleaned up some wiring and refilled my ph controller fluids. I will rinse with fresh water this am and plant out. It will be full right away as these 4 glues I have going in have been vegging for 88 days!! They are ridiculously large. A general wipe down of surfaces with bleach and I am ready to go another round. 1 day turnaround...yeah baby! I probably wont flip till next week. Give them a bit of time to adjust to the new digs. Shooting for 5 runs in 365 days. I have 2 under my belt. 1 took 73 days total and the other 87. So 160 days for 2 runs so far. Don't think I will make the full 5 at this pace....close though. If numbers hold true I could get 4 runs in 320 days or so. Glue is a slow finisher. With a 8 week strain I could do it.
A shot of a couple super cropping heals.

WOW, that is sexy ;)

I am big on root shots too

Great job, I think I will open the last pack and get the GG4 running.

Thanks for sharing all your info and photos.

Exactly what DD said - those roots are AWESOME looking.

And the supercrop sites - so cool. The glue took ok to supercropping and it wasn't to stressful? I guess at that point in the flower it would have to be extreme stress to hermie them?

How do you do a transfer to DWC after vegging? I'm curious about that, I'd love to get to the point where I'm able to do multiple finishes a year.

Love your posts, so detailed and informational!

Thanks for the very kind words DiverDave and sp4z205. I try to give as much solid info as possible without fluff or bs. There is way to much of that in the industry for my taste. Diver, where did you get the seeds you have?

Ok super cropping...I do it in veg, not flower. I did it the first few days they were in the big room. Had to to work them under the trellis they were so tall. Those 2 were cropped pretty hard...big split and stayed flopped over for a week. Came back no problem and some real nice structure and colas. Glue will handle stress if she is healthy...not light stress though...avoid that please.

I grow 100% in water from seed to flower. I germ my seeds in paper towel then into a aero cloner in hydroton. They get transferred from that to a flood and drain. Just bigger net pots and more hydroton...I use the net pot they will flower in...8" from CC. When ready to flower I pull them out of the f and d tray. I have to cut roots sometimes cause they mix. They have plenty and do just fine. Then I just plop them right into the 8 gallon undercurrent buckets and away we go. It is very easy.
Typical roots from F&D

A early example of how I do the F&D in my tent. I run a 2x4 tray now.

I can pretty much tell you anything you want to know about the glue or growing in water...not bragging, just have been doing it a long time. Love to pass on the knowledge as well.
Have a great day all. Peace negative.

When you say "light stress" do you mean having leaks during my night cycle or do you mean by having lights too low/intense?

I like that F/D for vegging, reduced footprint and they are already in their final net pot.

Oh I could learn a lot from you, I feel like I have very similar goals to what you're doing but I'm just getting started in my hobby!

Much respect to you!

Thanks man, I feel like I have and continue to learn lots about the plant/hobby. Time has helped.

So "light stress". Yes everything you said is considered light stress. Leaks and to much intensity both can hurt you. Make sure your space is dark by sitting in it for at least 15 minutes. This time will allow your eyes to adjust and pick out any tiny leaks you have. Leaks can lead to herms and such. To intense and you will have bleaching or at worst burning. Do you understand lighting terms like PPFD and DLI? These can be very useful when determining light height and intensity..like if you have a dimmer so you can dial it down.

The more PPFD you throw at them the harder they have to work. That means you have to have your shit on point at all times or they will suffer. Think of these new LED lights as cars..these are the Ferari and Lambos of the car world, high performance. 1000 to 1200 PPFD should be more than enough to make your plants super happy if you got it right. Strains are different so results may vary. Plants use less light intensity in veg because they are exposed to it for longer. Then we ramp up the lights in flower because we have shortened the amount of time that it is exposed to it.
Oh hell I could ramble all night about light tech..haha sorry.
Here is a blast from the HID past. Afgooey and Super Silver Haze seed run...mmmmm. Funny note on this pic. I have seen at least 2 seed companies use it to advertise "their" seeds..lol.

Took me 36 hours to turn around the room this time. It is just insane how much growth can occur in 12 weeks of veg with 4 plants!! I will post a couple shots of it later...I am beat.
Have a great one all. Peace, negative.

Diver, where did you get the seeds you have?

My seeds are from Urban Legends, seed pack contained 5 seeds each for Gorilla Auto, Fighting Gorilla, Mazarilla, and Gorilla Cookie.
I have grown a sample of each except the Gorilla Auto, which will be next.

Those are real clean roots in the 8" net.

Great job ;)

Ok, I do understand those terms!

I've been watching so many videos and reading books. I have to purchase a proper meter but I've found that most smartphones have the ability to, with the install of an app, read ppfd and dli (you just may need to calibrate the phone sensitivity based on the lights PAR readout) - it's not exact but I'm looking to purchase a meter to get more precise.

Thank you!

Welcome and thanks for the nice comment. I do really appreciate it. Get ready to relearn some things you knew about growing with the new leds. I am sure you will be fine as there is lots of info out there. What type of lights are you going to use? What style of grow and what strains are you running? Be interesting to hear.

Doing some maint on the ph probes today. I do it every month. It is important to have correct readings. I have 3 to keep up with so I just do them all at one time.
fetch?photoid=17922758.jpg

Smoking on some of the gg4 from seed I grew this round. If you remember I had 1 from seed in the group of 4 this run. It is slightly different than the orig but it was a runt to so that may be a factor. Less color in the buds and slightly different trich structure. Maybe not quite as dense. It hits hard though..prob cause I went quite a bit longer this run, 78 days. I am not disappointed. Be interesting to run some more of this seed to see what I get. The gas smell is very pronounced...mmmm
fetch?photoid=17922759.jpg

Ok this is outta control and a little embarrassed to show it but here is the tent bursting...12 weeks or so of veg with 4 plants..haha. The t-5 was an attempt to get some more light in there, kinda ghetto but I did what I had to for a couple weeks. It is amazing when I pull these out and put them in the flower room how big they actually are.

Thanks all for the comments. Ask away anything you may be interested in and I will do my best to find a answer. Hope you all have a great day.

This run came out pretty. Loving smoking on the early buds that I pulled. They are just getting dry enough to puff on.

I will have to say this looks awesome! I have bought jars of Wedding Cake, Gelato, Mac and some high end strains. Not that many cause you know I grow my own kill. I think glue and this batch in particular hangs right in there with the so called "elites" I put this in a jar and it looks amazing! I will say these were just random branches I was pulling near the end to check the trich. I did not pic them out special and they were not the biggest ones.
All hail the mighty GLUE!!!

I've got a Lumatek 600w Zeus Pro in a tent with a 4 site current culture system. A Spider farmer SE3000 (300w) in another tent with a diy dwc system. Seedlings under a 2x55w t5HO.
The first strains I'm putting through is some Cheese XL autos and AK47 just to get some buds and to get a feel for the LEDs. Then when I feel confident enough I've got a pack of GG4 by GG Genetics to pop. As well as super lemon haze, zkittles, girl scout crack, liberty haze, white rhino, blue dream. Once the weekly updates get a bit more exciting I will put up a grow diary.
This is why your grow interests me so much coz you're doing the GG4 and a rdwc system. Will be learning all I can.

Hell yeah, welcome to the CC club Those systems are just great. Nice lights as well. You should be able to get some nice yields. That is a great selection of seeds to have...nice!

I am deciding what to run after this round. It will be something different than the glue this time. I am leaning towards the Dough G from Ocean Grown. Should have a lot of OG Kush qualities coupled with the cookies funky rotten dough. I like the sound of that.

I will be watching along with your grow for sure! Have a great day all. I am smoking on some fresh pressed rosin and headed out for a nice hike with the hounds.

Hey hey there. Been 9 or 10 days since harvest and things are going swell. All replanted and ready to flip another round of Glue this weekend.
Buds have been chilling in my tent since harvest and are still not stem snapping...nice. The more full plant hang with no trimming is helping with that. Also i have pretty good control over that tents conditions so that helps to. Buds are looking fab.

Not much else going on. Clones of the gg4were taken and are going along well. Seeds of the Dough G will be popped next week so that will be fun. Just smoking on the last round and the cure(90 plus days now) makes it sooo good.

Here is a few shots of harvest day again.

Thanks for the very kind words sir. These are the best looking buds I have ever grown for sure. They may be the strongest as well but that is hard to tell. I am super happy with the light and system. The LED brings out the best in these buds. I have flipped the next 4 already to flower and things are looking great. Doing my dry trim in the next couple days, will keep a tight track on the yield. Come back with a final smoke and gpw update. Going to let this thread go after this and stop updating. Feel like I have documented all I can with this LED and undercurrent. if I have any cool stuff come up I will let you all know.

Very excited to try out the Dough G from Ocean Grown soon. I will be cracking some beans from them in a week or 2. Have clones of the glue on the go cause I will not let that one go for sure...never disappoints me.
Have a great day all. Peace, negative.

Flipping to 12/12 this morning. Trimmed up a tray last night and its the gas. I hear people describe the glue they grow as chocolate or coffee smelling Mine is pure fuel!! It just dominates over the other aromas So stinky in a awesome way!! Easily the prettiest bud I have grown to date. It has got a real kick to. The more I am looking at it under the scope the more amber I am seeing. Couch lock city!!
Enjoy the day fellas. Peace, negative

Hi all. This will be a final report with weight and smoke review. I will also blab on about the equipment and a few other tidbits so get ready.

So after a VERY long time growing I can say I produced the best meds ever from me. I have had many awesome grows and grown a ton of strains as well. Only a couple even come close to this run. The buds look just incredible and I chuckle every time I look at a jar. The smell is the best I have had. This has everything to do with the way I have cured it. Big bunches of branches kept intact and hung. 60/60 on temp and humidity for 14 days and you have the goods. I started pulling off larger quantities on the 13th day...mostly the smaller branches. I continued over the next 2 days to pull the dryer ones till I had it all in gallon jars.

The grow system(undercurrent) and light(photo boost strip DIY) are both beyond excellent. The light does just what it is supposed to do every time. The coverage and intensity blow away the HID set up I had. The RDWC is no drama and all performance. I will continue to use this set up for awhile. The addition of the automated Ph control was very nice to have. The only thing I would like to do is increase my top off rez size.
Some sexy glue buds.

Smoking on the Glue for me is something I never tire of...daily driver. The gassy/fuel funk of glue keeps me cracking the jar just to smell it. I have not had this run tested but I can assure you I have seen many examples of 20-30% THC pot. I have a very experienced eye. By looking at this run I would put money that it would hit 27% no problem. It would be very interested to see terp values cause I know the Myrcene and alpha-pinene would be way up there. I rate it a 9.75/10 from what I have seen in my opinion. Looks on par with Mac1, Wedding Cake and some Larry and Tahoe crosses. Bag/jar appeal would be for sure a 9.9. I am biased but the glue rules.

Thing I did change for this next run. Less flowering heads...way to many last run, to crowded. Came into flower in better health. Using heater to keep up leaf temps from the start. Only Jacks 3-2-1 and some adds...no 3 different nutes this run. I added some more air to the system. Put a 4 outlet pump on the epicenter to up dissolved O2 levels. That is it. The wheel is working and I do not need to break it...haha.
Getting ready to press some rosin.

Ok ok, I made you weight to the end...get it...for the numbers. I am sure you all like to hear them. They are always interesting for me. I kept very good track of every bud. It is easier when you have stash to smoke for sure... I pulled a few branches early to check trichs and kept a record of all that as well. Took 3 days to harvest as they slowly dried after a 13 to 15 day hang. I do not rim tight at all. After so many years that aint my thing no more. I pull fans and bigger leaves but with the glue all other are just coated in sugar and there is no need. I leave a small bit of stem here and there as well. It help regulate moisture levels in the jar. These buds are ready to smoke as I pull them off and I like them on the dryer side. Not wet at all. Telling you all this in the interest of full disclosure. I like to be honest. I did not keep track of individual plants just a total.
Doing some final trimming.

I pulled 810 grams, or 28.92 oz or 1.26 GPW...however you like to look at it. I used 640 watts of power but that was not on full bore the whole way. Not sure how to factor that but if I used less watts overall I would assume that ups the GPW..no matter. I think I did a good job! I also ended up with over 100 grams of super small nugs and frosty trim. Hash time!!
Next round underskirt shot!! Getting ready to kill it again!!
