:yoinks:
I apologise in advance for the quality of this photo..
but look closely..

Flaming ants Stealing my seeds from out of the soil..

would you believe it.

Little swines.... :bashhead:

This is indeed a Freakie Friday... :chin:

I have just been up to sort the AK-47 X JEM'S out.
(I have re-germed into the pot so I was going to pull the stumpies.)

I was having a sniff..to get an idea of which parent they took after and 1 of them smells of ORANGE.
How on earth can I get a JEM x AK that smells of Orange..

It isn't really feasible..but it is Very distinct.
It has me scratching my head

Cannot persue it either.

I wasn't bothered about seeding them..they were too small..
but I wasn't bothered about protecting them either because I knew they were coming out..so the purple heart male had his wicked way with them.
(WWidow x JEM x WRussian x AK x JEM..could be an interesting mix.. :chin: )

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE.. :joint:

some Fine looking young Ladies you have there.

Lovely overheads..nice balanced heads

and I can see from those side-ons that you have the favoured pheno.
The one on the right is a certainty.
Looks kinda boney with long stemmed bottom branching..

They are the ones that WOOF...
and if I am right looking at them..they are going to WOOF very shortly.
Keep up with those flower ferts...

I cannot wait to see them next week... :yummy:

Good luck with her(your patiance might give in before she finishes though

I am not known for me patience Meaty... :drum:
and the other things is..for some strange reason..
the satis never seem to do it for me.

I may still set her free to finish her days in my m8's neighbours garden...

Looking good Mossy. That 2 ft mother your are going to use looks to be some nice genes. when your making more seeds do you plant for males and fems at the same time? Or didn't you say to plant a few weeks later because the males mature and make pollen before the fems would need it? If this was the case couldn't you just save some pollen in the freezer until you were ready to use it. Nice work none the less.

This is the first time I have tried this method HHH...and I should see if it is feasible shortly.

I multi-germed into a large pot.
Took the males out as they appeared.
Then I re-germed into the same pot.

Theory being..the males from the second grow should be pollenating just as the fems from the first grow reach Peak maturity..

but then again..I could be wrong...

I Prefer a Natural pollenation if I can.
Saving and storing pollen for me has never been a sucessful as letting them get on with it themselves.

but that is probably more a reflection on my skills than the methods.

IMO..as soon as you pollenate a girl she diverts all her attention from growing..into seed production.

If I pollenate the girls with the first grown males..
I don't get a true measure of their potential...height/weight/yield
I am effectively putting a stop on them.

I am hoping going for a Late pollenation will give me a better idea of their measures.

Cheers Ganja Smile..they are like growing your favourite top cola..without the rest of the frame.

Hey guys..m8 is in Bulgaria..he has just phoned and he says there is cannabis everywhere you look..even growing by the side of the road.
He say 3 kids walked into the bar they were in last night and calmly lit spliffs the size of cigars...sounds like my kinda place.

He is going to try to get photos this time.

Local fiesta last-night. Fireworks at midnight.
You gotta laugh at this one..I musta wiggled the camera..
and it looks like someones shot a flock of sea-gulls.

Happy fiesta..

My cup runeth over.

First glimpse of LR#2 X FB..they are away like rats up a drain-pipe.

Sounds good Mossy. Thanks for clarifying it for me. Looks like you got a few more sprouts going on there.. haha. Damn that one pot has so many in there. Are you planning on thinning them out later?

Aye HHH..
I have about 20 seeds in each pot..
and I am looking for 2-4 Prime girls out of each.

If the re-germing for the males works out..I think I have just about got time to get another set.
If it fails..I will keep some of the males from this germ.

In about a week they will have knnitted the soil enough for me to transfer them en masse into one of the larger pot without disturbing the root-ball..too much.

I have tested the method this season and it works for me.

They really do not like transplant..so I am trying to keep it to a minimum.

see the re-germs at the front of this pot..
just as a test..when I thinned them..I transplanted the ones that come out to see what kind of stop it put on them...

See the difference.
Same seed..out the same pot/germ.
Just the transplant difference..

'nuff said eh!

Red arrow...first male showing in the re-germs. (WR IBL)
He should be ready to pollenate in a week..and those girls look as if they can afford to wait.

Looks like it might just work.. :chin:

Yellow circle..two-headed beastie.
Conditional freakie.

The one on the far right of the WR pot will be pollenated.
The rest will not.

Purple circle.
Re-germ AK-47 X JEM.
I stumpied the first germ due to low-light.
(You can see them at the back of the pot.)
You can see already that the re-germ is larger..and it is also a girl.

I will be keeping my eyes on her.

Wow where is everyone?! Not much posts here this week. Back in for the weekly update on my end. Here are the girls in their 3rd week of flowering.

Sorry about all the yellow that the HPS gives off kind of makes a crappy pic. But you can see the bud structure of them. The fan leaves are dying off but the buds are green as can be :jump: You were right on mossy they did indeed 'woof' this week. Looks like smooth sailing these last 3-4 weeks(hopefully). Also I think for the last 2 weeks of flushing Im going to do the sugar water thing as I think it helped on some previous grows. Take care have a dandy week!
