ALF and the Fat B*stard AF's..

M

mossy

How long is the bud run on that Durban...

it looks Sweet..
hellish long leaf stalks...is it current...?

Always had a bag of dried sheep poo in a water barrel in the UK..
let it ferment for a month..
over here...space and attracting mozzies has prevented me.

Mind...they don't look as bad as Your mozzies..
I don't envy you those...

"I'll try and snap a photo of my friend's outdoor garden this afternoon...."

cheers m8..I thought you would.

Soxx16..history on the WR X Masterlow IBL.

Given to me @f1. The White Russian that I am growing plus an unknown Masterlow.

Non Hybrid parents [email protected] test patch I only got AF's.
I IBL'd with a sibling male.

@F2 again small test patch..all AF's.

I had 2 af males and 3 af fem's in a 10 inch pot..so they should be small..
but they have put on one of the best shows.
I have 1 x 15 inch pheno that will give me around 15-18 g's dry.

If I had her in a decent pot on her own..I would have got my ounce off her..
so I am Well impressed with her performance.

Let me see what you get m8..

hey right on mossy! thanks for the info. the seeds are about to be germed, tomorrow. i'll be sure to let you know what comes of them! cheers

Just went out to top dress with some 0-7-0 guano mix.... The rains a comin! :woohoo:

The early durban photo is about a week off... She's nice and chunky now, over 2 inches wide! Not sure when she'll be done.. sometime late august I would guess.

Sitting the manure in water wouldn't be the thing you want to do.... It would lead to anaerobic decomposition.... Different microbes thrive in those conditions, and some are denitrification bacteria.... They will use the nitrogen in the manure and evolve it as nitrogen gas.... Look it up.... much better to keep the compost AERATED.... You've got some crazy old school methods mossy, where do you come up with them? :D

Didn't get a shot of those black indy today, will here soon....

Looks like we have a problem with my part of the project... One Alf female was molded, so it was pulled.... The male was clear snapped in half and just hanging on... Pitiful.... The deep Chunks, looks like they're all male... will wait another few days and check again.... May have to wait until next season...

It may have worked out for the better though... this deep chunk line is somewhat deviated because it isn't straight from HTC.... I'll get some HTC DC for next year and we'll get some good numbers going to select from for this important hybridization... Mustn't be taken lightly.... I don't know what else to do though.... :chin:

Geez, these plants are growiN! The tall patch is 11 females and most are well above my head! :headbange

From the 23rd of July.... Updated photo coming soon....

Mossy Mother fertiliser teas pipe...

Damn shame about the ALF/DC cros..BUT

If it is worth doing..it is worth doing The Best you can...
your intial cross with the DC..
will decide the outcome of the whole new line.

What about preserving a bit pollen from the ALF male then if you get a nice DC fem..you could pollenate a bud?

(I have fantasies about standing next to canna girls that are taller than me..don't torment me.)

Can't wait to see the Durban finish..she looked as if she was going to Woof.

HHH....soxx16...

damn yesterday i went to check on the indoor garden and i found the light turned off... damn old school timers.. i was using a digital one for the auto irrigation and a mechanical one for the light ( cause it has only one on and one off).. had to switch them.. now the light is safe but the watering is not trustworthy.. i may have to stop by the growshop.. i hope not..
Thinking about germing the autos indoor to get a quicker/bigger veg growth in the first 2/3 weeks.. what you think?

Aye WAM..same problem here.
I bought a digital timer..and the electric cuts really screwed it..so I ended up with mechanical.

"Thinking about germing the autos indoor to get a quicker/bigger veg growth in the first 2/3 weeks.. what you think?"

If you are talking "lights" I would say yes go for it..
but if you are talking windowsill..chuck them outdoor.

Light levels and Early root-room are their NEEDS.
Temperatures secondary.

I would recommend germing 10 seeds in a tomato pot..10-20 ltrs.
PLAIN compost.
Remove the males as they show.
3-4 fem's in a 20 ltr pot is optimum..with a good feeding schedule.

How you doing m8..life treating you well..?

Five different strains in that second pic mate : bottom left is X18 x DeepChunk , bottom right is Purple Bastard
top left is a mystery plant which i thought was a 4way cross i got from a friend but its so similar to the X18 i think i messed up and confused them at early veg stage.. top middle is Cascadia x PineTarKush and top right is the SWEET bubbledust... i wish you could smell her

M

Mmmm..I think you could be right about that mix up..
top left and bottom left look equally Incredible from this side of the photo. They were the ones making me hungry :yummy: :yummy:

It was those 2 and the middle one that caught me greedy eye..
(might of known they had DC in..I am developing a DEEP attraction for DC..you might have noticed) :muahaha:

but we all know you cannot judge a bud by her hanger...I assume you will be doing a smoke-test on them all...

i wish you could smell her
Not as much as I do WAM..believe me.

She sure is a Bonny one..
she reminds me of something else..but I cannot remember what.. :joint:

It will come to me.

When you say SWEET bubbledust..

is she sweet/thick/sugarey..

or sweet/reedy/high tone..?

hOW LONG TO HARVEST..?

Ah..talking about smell..
that WR Masterlow I took down this morning.

When I brought her down to weigh she smelled the house out..
so I put her on the patio to wilt down a bit.

When I went up to the patio before I couldn't believe the smell.

1 little plant and it smelled like 1,000 tom cats had p*ssed up there.
I had to put her inside before the neighbours smelled it.

She is a Minger.

i mean sweet/sugary/candy like smell... she has the aroma of the first chew of a bubble gum.. it reminds me of red fruits (strawberry/Cherry)

the WR x AK that i gave to Mr.A is a real stinker too.. as soon as i stepped on his terrace it smelled like there was a whole outdoor crop there but there was only a 20 cm bud in the whole garden :D

Yeah, these ALF have a strong smell alright... Just the one female with a few small budlets in a box smelled up my girl's room quite nicely...

Nice garden wamen! :headbange Wish I could sit there and smell them with ya...

Update on the way....

Yup..AK shocked me with the smell..especially after the JEM's.

ALL of them stink..industral on harvest.
but during grow..

I would class the JEM's as Low

White Russians Low-medium

AK High

The Masterlow x WR is probably only a medium during the grow..
but definitely one of the highest on harvest.

I have also had the TomCatsPee smell before..
(and I usually think it means a Strong bud..)
but I have never had it as strong as this one.
I was chewing it.

It was like... :yoinks: get her in quick before the neighbours smell it...

WAMEN..get what you mean about the pots now..the ones I am using ATM are 20 30 and 42 ltr builders buckets.
They only cost 2 euros..which is the same as the 10 inch clay pot...mmm

TIGHT MOSSY TIGHT.. :smoke:

Fancy the sound of the sugary girl..
I am not so keen on the the high reedy ones.
I have one with a great Red fruit smell..but it is Hard fruit..no sugar.

The AF's in the photo are ALF#3
the two tall ones in the middle are the coloured phenos.

The one in front is a purple..peachy/red on the bottom of the calyxs.

the one behind is Blue..but I cannot get it on the camera.

I have my fingers crossed that she's Not going to purple up..
because the blue is the only colour in the grow that I haven't managed to isolate.

Purple.

pipe...I am standing by to drool... :yummy:

Someone with a Sati eye give me an opinion on this one.

She is LEFT of the ALF in the post above.

The top leaves and buds are coming in Ultra-spidery

(but I don't know if that is good or bad...)

on the buds themselves..the pistills are extra long and fine..
but chaotic looking.

for me..used to mainly Indies..the buds look kinda Alien..
so any help would be appreciated.

Do I keep her or let her go to my M8..?

I am patient with stupidity but not with those who

You got a sativa pheno on your hands, I bet that takes longer to finish then the rest. Looks like my wish came true :D

Mr C..
unfortunately..she is a non-af.. :nono:

BUT..
there is one reason she is still sitting on my patio..
have a look under her skirts..

I germed 10 seeds..all were non-af except for 1 fem and 1 male.

Unfortunately..because the non-af's are a lot bigger and faster they over-shadowed the AF's and made them little/conditional stumpies..
but hell..even stumpies have a sexlife..

my AF long-shot...
she has a couple of seeds on her..
so I needed to give her the chance to ripen them.

Now the AF is done..
I am supposed to send the non-af out to my m8..but it has me intrigued.
I haven't seen buds like that before..so I want to see how they mature.
