Albany Sour Diesel Clone

Looks incredible. Is your 'Real Sour' the Jay P cut?
That is beautiful!!!! Unfortunately I can't use cmh or hps where I am, so I got a nice light with 8 side lights ,for optimal intensity without burning the plant ..
Definitely gonna use salts. Real sour came up on it.

Good stuff. Now I'm not a expert grower but I did have this "stoner bro science" thought. I feel that sour d was made in salts. It kinda throws off the equilibrium to use the new age stuff out now. So u def might get the best results getting back to basics . Happy growing .🌱
to be honest it makes sense. if a cultivar is being fed salts for 20+ years, it's hard to imagine she'd be happy in anything else. I'm sure it could be done organically with extra work, but giving her what she's had for several decades does seem fit.

the actual Lucas formula using GH flora series would be worth a try.
Given the time frame I am wondering if it was just the plain old 3 part. I had decent with the maxibloom on the 2 tiny ones. They were under an itty bitty 100w led though. Still very nice quality wise and I am beginning to think it has something to do with how much light they are getting. I think AJ said to keep the temps 10F from night to daytime and not go over 78F. Something about boiling certain terpenes off.

I want to try her in coco with pure blend pro like flower power ran her. When Cloney and I got together for a sesh he was telling me about how he adds lots of organics along with his salt feeds to really get his cut to dank out. Let me see if I can find the recipe he sent me. Not sure if I’ve posted that here yet.

Week 1-4 flower
Jacks321 Lucas formula
Biobizz bloom
Biobizz algaematic
Biobizz bioheaven
Silica of any brand
TPS signal

Week 5-10/11
Jacks
Mills c4
Mills pk
Silica
TPS signal

Fertilize every single watering. Sunshine #4 mix. Medium seems to be crucial to best expression even adding 20% more perlite seems to help update or something also but that’s all the road to best sour.

Hey everyone. It’s not much but just wanted to share an update on my Cloney cut. Only feeding Jacks 321 formula as of right now.

well I use recharge on wasted wednedsdays and the cocos are clearly the same as I had in hydro. Cloney is like a gym bag of stinky greasey funk. I get a sharp nice nosey garlicy funk fuel on my Sour Diesel. Might be the cull for the cloney. Getting the same on the HID without the organics at like 50d and about to flush.

The buds themselves have looked nearly identical across ECSD chaco, Cloney Albany and JP Real Sour but its the smell, taste and soaring effect that sets them apart.

Chaco was first to cull. Cloney is on the block. And knowing what I know now I'd have kept the Chaco over Cloney but both are half the size and vigour of this other lady. Not trying to start iish but its my opinion.

And I must say one final final. If you Gents think that feeding a different snake oil is going to magically morph your terps you are really smokin some good shit I'll tell ya what.

Wont happen ever. Terps are secured in the DNA.
I agree with the cannabis snake oil products they try selling ..Anything with "terp booster" or "bud booster" or any "420" specific names is to get your wallet.. Nutrients are just nutrients ..I've seen TPS signal mentioned a few times in this thread so I looked it up

CaptuDFDFre.JPG

just a little Potassium and Epsom salt ..I imagine the extra sulfur is the "terp enhancer" lol..I wouldn't bother either way
Having said that...The way you run your grow can play a HUGE factor in the way your bud comes out obviously ...Nutrient uptake, water frequency, watering amount, light and VPD...My cut in my room might look and smell and taste different than the same cut in your room.
I have a feeling the term "AJ's SOUR DIESEL" came from people on the streets wanting the stuff AJ grew because he knew how to grow it a little better than most back in the day. Not because it was a different cut.

Glad you found what you’re looking for @LostTribe !

I’m going to have to track down the JP and give her a try.

Why'd chaco get the axe?
Soley vigour or....?

I’ve used jacks for a good while now and my experience between the two have been a little different. You ever compared the 2 on hydro buddy ?
Im running it first time in hydro and its easy peasy. I ran the cloney the first time on jacks in coco as well. Only supplementing with 1ml/gal mr fulvic and some MPK.

Absolutely, environmental factors can definitely sway them.
