Simon of Serious Seeds doesn't speak openly about the roots of his genetics. I don't doubt that some experienced grower's can see certain traits in her (from landrace strains or stabilized strains such as skunk) though.

theres no THAI in NL. i know the breeder who created it; from seattle, washington and vancouver island, bc came the genetics.

it went to dutch passion in holland and they DO NOT ever release the strains. they made 19 hybrids of the NL. the 1 pure indica was aroura borelis or however you spell it.

and i said go ask simon as i knew you would get blown off just like i did.

hate to tell you guys but ak-48 has NO ak-47 genetics in her. she was created from 2 of my fav strains non-jamaiican ICE and jock horror. this is not serious seeds at all. beautiful strain, packin power but not ak-47.

good report...I grew AK 47 last year, and while still alive, the plant had a nice mix of diesel and tangerine smell...when cut and cured, all that was left was some very spicy smell that is still in the 3 or 4 buds I got...when burned it smells like tobacco, but my problem is...I smoke it, and it doesn't get me high...my friends smoke it, and it hits them so strong...in fact, 3 of them, and friend of a friend said it was one of the strongest buds they ever smoked...

I found that strength is much more subject than most folks first imagine. Some folks feel robbed if they don't get that initial rush right after smoking. Others may not care about the initial rush of "a boring indica" while they'll endlessly praise a creative high that creeps up on them.

If it doesn't get you high at all, that's a pretty unique situation!

Nice report . We have a cut of AK-47 that has been around here for many years and supposedly came from the original release . It is very sativa dominant yet manageable and ready in about 65 days . Very distinctive haze flavor and aroma . You can always tell someones smoking AK when you walk into a room where it's burning . My partners wife's favorite ...little too racy for me ...but I do enjoy an occasional taste .

ya ive got a ak cut thats fucking amazing.. done in 60-70 days thats my pref lol.. i prefer couchlock. but can be done in 55-60 ... the thing gets amazingly crystally and stinky . made some nice crosses with Afghan male.. and an og18xskunk male.

If you feel ak47 out..it will put out almost like no other...and its not to super heavy for light weights and its not super light for heavy weights..and you can change the effect profile as you mature..easy peasy indeedzy?...heh...power to it

Its a sure shot, but the damned seeds are ALWAYS out of stock. That strain sells out in 36 hours on the attitude. I tried to wait, but wasnt going to miss the birthday promo. 2 weeks later, they had them in, but 36 hours later....sold out again. Next time they are available I'm buying 2 packs.
