every time someone says that 80's music sucked, i use the Talking Heads for an example of how revolutionary some of the 'art music' was during that time.
i never picked up on those African influence rhythms until now. thanks for that!

Saw the Stop Making Sense tour at the Merriwether Post Pavilion.
Never saw so many white folk getting funky, in one place, all at the same time. :dance013:
Thievery Corporation show in Portland was a close second.
